General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, April 3, indicates that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) reported Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) shady move while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) son was revealed.
In Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) sought guidance about the cutting-edge surgery that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was offering to pay for.
Curtis urged Kai to have Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) tell him if it was legit and then make his choice from there.
In Portia’s office at GH, Drew put her on full blast. Since Drew wasn’t happy about Curtis undermining him by using “Congressman Cain” in his press coverage, he took his anger out on Portia.
Drew reminded Portia that he could blow up her life and insisted she was going to report back to him with updates on Curtis’ moves.
Later, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) approached Portia with more demands, but she insisted their little arrangement was over since his leverage fell into Drew’s hands.
Brad realized this was Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) doing, so Portia was even angrier about her involvement. Although Portia fired Brad, he started begging for his job.
Kai eventually showed up, so Portia put her tense conversation with Brad on hold. While Brad was waiting in the lab, Kai gave Portia the news about the innovative new procedure and got her to agree to research it.
When Portia realized Drew was tangled up in all this, she seemed concerned.
Afterward, Brad reconvened with Portia, who allowed him to keep his job. Portia hinted about Brad being useful to her, so it sounded like she might use him for shady tasks eventually.
At the Metro Court, ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) met with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to ask questions about Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), but Trina quickly realized this was more about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and cut the conversation short.
Later, Kai paid Trina a visit and shocked her by hinting that there might be a way for him to play football again.
Back with Curtis, he summoned Drew and basically warned him to stop giving Kai false hope when he was vulnerable. Drew acted like he was trying to do a good deed and accused Curtis of being the problem here.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) seemed overwhelmed over the fake baby daddy charade, but Jason was fine with being on any legal documents since he’d committed worse than fraud.
Although Sasha wondered how long they’d keep up the ruse, Jason suggested they could take it one step at a time and were in this together.
Sasha ultimately felt the baby kick for the first time and recalled Jason was present when the baby moved for the first time, too. Once Sasha encouraged Jason to feel her kicking baby as well, he did and shared a sweet moment with her in the process.
Back at the Metro Court, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) told Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about his job interview at Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) law office, where he saw Lucas’ picture on Alexis’ desk.
Lucas confessed that he wasn’t normally the type to hook up with random guys from the bar – nor was he looking for a serious relationship.
Marco assured Lucas that he wasn’t stalking him, so they established that they’d like to get to know each other better – especially if this job offer panned out.
Over with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she remained skeptical that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had really been speaking with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about WSB business. Although Carly could deal with secrets, she couldn’t deal with lies.
Brennan assured Carly that her name didn’t even come up in the conversation and promised not to manipulate her. Nevertheless, half-truths were sometimes part of his job, so he hoped Carly could live with that.
Brennan pointed out that he was breaking the cardinal rule of the WSB by forming an emotional attachment to her. In the end, Carly and Brennan locked lips before he dashed off to handle something.
Afterward, Carly approached Lucas to quiz him about the hunk she saw him with. Lucas was more interested in the fact that Carly didn’t come home last night.
Lucas also mentioned Jason seeking him out to discuss his Brennan concerns, so he made a prediction about Jason not backing off.
At Wyndemere, Natalia hid while Sidwell spoke with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who walked inside without being invited.
Sonny questioned Sidwell about Soliski (Jeff Wolfe) since he was a hitman with Africa ties – and Sidwell had a compound there right before he came to Port Charles.
Sidwell assured Sonny that his hands were clean since he wanted Sonny alive to help keep the peace in PC. It was helpful to Sidwell’s business according to him.
Sidwell also offered up his resources to help Sonny find the real penthouse explosion culprit, but Sonny declined and took off.
Once Natalia came out of hiding, Sidwell assumed she hadn’t told Sonny about him being her ex-husband. That was another reason for Natalia to keep her mouth shut and avoid causing problems.
Suddenly, Marco showed up at the door and greeted Sidwell as “Dad.” After Marco realized Natalia was present, he demanded to know what his mom was doing there.
At the Metro Court again, Sonny met with ADA Turner and realized she was on a fishing expedition, so he advised against it and left.
At a café, Josslyn showed up there since she’d seen the sleeves on Vaughn’s coffee cups. Vaughn was there too, so he chatted with Josslyn and had some suspicious interactions with a woman there.
Once Josslyn witnessed a sneaky exchange of info under the croissant tray, she returned to the WSB facility before Brennan showed up. Now that Josslyn was ready to graduate, Vaughn was ready to get back out in the field.
After what happened in Romania, Brennan angrily suggested it’d be a long time before Vaughan did more than handle new recruits. Josslyn felt the need to speak up about the strange drop-off she witnessed now that she knew Vaughn was trouble.
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn may be in the middle of her last test for the training program, so stay tuned! CDL will have other terrific General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your go-to GH source.
