General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, February 27, reveals that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) faced off over Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) before Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) Easter Island texts were discussed.
At GH, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was relieved when Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) woke up and understood why he had to save Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but she tearfully insisted she couldn’t lose him.
Lucky got confirmation that Liz was OK and learned Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was suspected of making Cyrus disappear.
Once Elizabeth found out Lucky woke up, she planted a kiss on him and offered her gratitude over the rescue.
Although Lucky and Elizabeth had a lot to talk about, she insisted that could wait since he needed to rest now.
At the boxing gym, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about blindsiding Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with his Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) sperm donor suggestion.
Dante didn’t think he could step aside and watch his child from afar if he was in that situation, so he helped Chase see that it would be hard on Finn.
Chase ultimately realized he hadn’t really thought things through and planned to apologize to Brook Lynn for dumping the idea on her.
At home, Brook Lynn opened up to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about the Finn sperm donor possibility and ultimately concluded that it just wasn’t right for them.
Lois looked guilty as Brook Lynn suggested it’d be too hard if they kept secrets about Chase really being the child’s uncle.
Brook Lynn also wondered about the baby she gave up and how much they knew about the adoption.
It left Brook Lynn worried that maybe her son or daughter hated her for what she’d done.
Once Chase came home, he let Brook Lynn know he was sorry for putting her on the spot earlier.
Downstairs, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) pushed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to back off her cease-and-desist order that would forbid Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) from using the Quartermaine name.
Martin asked when Tracy last had the property surveyed and pointed out that the Quartermaine estate went 20 feet beyond what was actually theirs.
If Tracy didn’t back down, bulldozers could come and they’d have to move the family crypt.
Tracy refused to back down and decided to call Martin’s bluff. When Lulu arrived with the good news about Lucky waking up, Martin was pleased.
There was some talk about Martin looking through his records for clues about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but Lulu wanted to look through them herself and see if he might’ve missed something.
Once Martin left, Tracy insisted Martin was hiding something since his whole demeanor changed when Lulu came in.
Lulu gave Dante updates later and thought Martin might be the key to finding Charlotte.
At Charlie’s Pub, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) filled Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) in on her date with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) while Carly met up with Brennan nearby.
Carly complained to Brennan about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) legal drama and Drew’s refusal to back up his alibi.
Sidwell also approached Carly, who wasn’t pleased to see the kidnapper out roaming around Port Charles like everything was normal.
After Sidwell urged Carly to stay out of his affairs, Brennan intervened and spoke to him alone.
Brennan made it clear that if Sidwell troubled Carly again, then he’d drop a bomb on him and finished what he started in Africa.
Sidwell eventually returned to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who was his dinner companion for the evening.
Although Sidwell wanted Lucy’s help to buy Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard0 waterfront property, she politely declined to present his offer to the mob boss.
Back with Brennan, he assured Carly that she could take all the time she needed when it came to their romance since she was worth waiting for.
Trina popped over to speak with Carly since they’d both received texts about Josslyn’s last-minute trip to Easter Island.
The story was that a grad student dropped out at the last second, so Joss snatched up the spot on short notice.
Although Carly and Trina wished they could’ve said goodbye, they understood why Josslyn jumped at the chance since this would be a life-changing trip.
Brennan gave a nod as he kept secrets about what Josslyn was really up to.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Sonny met with her along with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Sonny found out about Drew’s alliance with Sidwell and how his waterfront property was at risk.
Despite Sonny’s fury over this power play, Laura warned that there was no room for retaliation.
After Laura learned Lucky was awake, Sonny took her to GH. Laura had a happy reunion with her son before Sonny sat by Lucky’s bedside next.
Lucky admitted that when he thought he wouldn’t make it, he seemingly heard Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) saying that it wasn’t his time.
Now General Hospital spoilers say Lucky will have to figure out how long he plans to stick around Port Charles, so we’ll pass along more predictions on his future.
