General Hospital Thursday, January 2 Recap: Lulu Blames Dante After Valentin & Charlotte Flee – Isaiah Rescues Sonny

General Hospital Thursday, January 2 Recap: Lulu Blames Dante After Valentin & Charlotte Flee, Isaiah Rescues Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 2, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finally opened her door to Ava Jerome (Maura West) again.

Still, she insisted there was nothing she could do to help Ava reclaim her divorce settlement.

Ava thought Alexis could do something if she really wanted to, but it was clear that Alexis wasn’t interested. After Ava warned that this wasn’t over, she stormed out.

In the boxing gym, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) came to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) rescue and suspected he was dealing with atrial fibrillation.

Once Isaiah got some EMTs to pitch in, Sonny was given an IV bag and a warning that he couldn’t just let this go.

Isaiah encouraged Sonny to visit GH and insisted this could turn into a heart attack or stroke without treatment.

Although Sonny swore Isaiah to secrecy, the good doc warned about the ticking time bomb in Sonny’s chest.

At the hospital, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) found Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) as her shift wrapped up.

Talk eventually turned to Drew getting sworn in soon, so he convinced Willow to attend the ceremony in Washington and bring Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

In Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) office, he told Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) that he was likely headed for a divorce with Willow, so her affair with Drew might have to become public.

Sasha figured Michael didn’t want their one-night stand coming to light, so she admitted she was leaving town and ultimately confessed that she was pregnant.

Michael realized he was the father and was ready to step up, but that’s not what Sasha wanted.

Sasha praised Michael as a wonderful dad, but she didn’t want her baby growing up as a Quartermaine and Corinthos considering all the drama of those families.

Plus, Sasha had concerns about mob mayhem and thought this would only further complicate Michael’s custody case.

Michael eventually relented on Sasha’s plan, but he needed her to do something for him in exchange.

In Prague, a shot was fired at Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at the café.

Once the glass shattered, chaos erupted that allowed Valentin to flee with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tried to pursue them, but they quickly realized Valentin had dumped the tracker Lulu planted in her purse.

Dante convinced Lulu that they needed help, so they talked to the cops and made sure an APB was put out.

However, Lulu felt that was her only chance to bring Charlotte back to Port Charles, so she snapped at Dante for blowing it!

Outside, Collette Girard (Mercedez Lopez Renard) was revealed to be the sniper who took aim at Valentin, so she called Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and informed him that Valentin got away with Charlotte.

Brennan also had to deal with a visit from an angry Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who tased him and handcuffed him to a chair.

Anna had heard about Brennan’s chat with Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner), so she wanted to send a clear message that her granddaughter was off-limits.

Brennan thought Anna was being rather dramatic and played the whole thing off humorously.

Nevertheless, Brennan turned serious in the end and made a prediction about a very different outcome if Anna did something like this again.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna will remain on guard when it comes to Brennan and what he’s capable of, so stay tuned for updates on any stunning news ahead.
