In tonight’s NCIS episode, Jimmy was a renaissance man. He was a great doctor as well as an artist. He sketched someone he never met for Parker. He thought it was a part of NCIS’s case, but in truth it was of a little girl that Special Agent Alden Parker kept seeing everywhere. He first saw her when he almost died.

He now sees her all the time and he’s not even sure if she was real or not. He doesn’t remember meeting her. It confused him why his mind would always go to her if she wasn’t important enough to remember. He asked Jimmy to sketch her just so that he could look for her. He needed to know if he was going crazy.

Parker didn’t tell the rest of his team about the little girl. He instead joked with them about Sawyer. Remember NCIS Agent Sawyer. He was a horrible guy and Torres’s chief frenemy. The two were still butting heads. Sawyer likes winding Torres up and the others enjoyed laughing about it.

It only stopped being a laughing matter when a new body dropped. The victim was Lieutenant Robert Mosley. He was found in an alley. He was killed elsewhere and dumped there. His killer probably wanted it to look like a mugging gone wrong.

Some of the team even started to think that when Jimmy found evidence proving differently. Jimmy found bite marks from an alligator on the victim.

Those creatures aren’t usually found in the Metro area. NCIS also checked the nearby zoos. There was no case of missing alligators and so someone was probably housing them as a pet. The pet had a little nimble on Robert after he was murdered. The alligator wasn’t the cause of death. Robert died from a blunt force wound at the back of his head.

Robert worked in Naval Intelligence. He was great at the job at first. He became a flake only recently and cocaine was found in his system. He also had a QR code on his wrist. The wrist mark was a pass for an underground party. NCIS figured that’s where Robert got the drugs. What they didn’t spot was that Robert wasn’t alone at the party.

He was there with Special Agent Sawyer. NCIS found videos and photos from the party. They found a photo of Sawyer with Robert. The photo plus the fact that Sawyer came into some family money had Torres worried that Sawyer turned into a drug dealer on their watch.

Sawyer was called in. He was interrogated. He wasn’t a drug dealer. Although he did lie about an inheritance. He got a side job working as security. He and Robert were assigned to babysit Shayna Reynolds. She was a rich kid with a penchant for trouble. It was up to Sawyer and Robert to keep her out of trouble that night.

They didn’t even report her when she set loose the alligator. She claimed she was an animal rights activist. She saw the alligator bite Robert and wasn’t the least sorry. Robert texted Sawyer that he was going to the hospital now that he dropped off Shayna at her home.

NCIS checked. Robert never went to the hospital. Nor was Shayna at home. Sawyer was forced to assist with the case because he technically wasn’t allowed a side job and so he went with the agents when they spoke with Shayna’s family. They haven’t heard from her. They were also worried.

They thought they hired the best for her and all they had to show for it was two men moonlighting as a side job. Shayna’s mother was particularly the angriest. She refused to help NCIS and they found Shayna without her.

There were signs on Robert that indicated he was in a swampy area. Well, Shayna’s family owns a lot of wetlands nearby. They also have a cabin there and that’s where they found Shayna. Shayna wasn’t on the run. She also wasn’t their killer. She genuinely cared about Robert and he was supposed to help her with something.

Shayna wanted to stop her family from selling the wetlands to a developer. The developer would build condos. It would also destroy the area. Shayna recorded footage of an endangered species using the nearby pond. And the developer would have ruined that if the plans went through.

Shayna told Robert about it. He offered to report it at work. He told Shayna to stay there and that was the last she saw him. Shayna explained everything to NCIS. She also told them that she suspected her family killed Robert.

NCIS took that suspicion seriously. They later questioned Shayna’s mother. She showed them a map of the development. The endangered frogs were going to be alright because the family wasn’t selling the whole area. They were selling merely a portion that didn’t include the pond.

Shayna didn’t know that. She recorded the frogs at the pond. She gave the video to Robert. Robert saw something she didn’t. NCIS checked the pond. They found a woman’s body in there.

She was the wife of the Reynold’s head of security. He dumped her there and he thought it was going to be fine because no one was going to develop it. But he didn’t count on Shayna recording the pond. Peter Braden found out about the footage. He killed Robert. He also tried to kill Shayna and several NCIS Agents.

Surprisingly, it was Sawyer that stopped him. Peter was done. Shayna was saved. Shayna also reconnected with her mother now they know they weren’t working on opposite sides.

Parker in the meantime got some news about the mystery girl. He found out that his mother died in a car accident. She had already abandoned the family by then and the little girl was in the newspaper at the scene.

The little girl was the sole survivor of the car crash.

THE END!
