In tonight’s Sister Wives episode, Christine finally got remarried tonight. She married her new love, David. David wasn’t a polygamist. Christine grew up in that life and she chose to leave it behind her. Like she did with her ex-husband. Christine went into her second marriage as a monogamist.

She wasn’t a polygamist anymore. She wasn’t Kody’s third wife anymore. She was finally someone’s priority. Christine’s children all thought she was rushing into this second marriage and the only reason they weren’t talking against it was because they finally saw her happy.

Christine hasn’t been happy like this in years. She wasn’t happy with their dad. She was making do with Kody and she was being loved by David. The one thing Christine has ever wanted was to be loved.

Nowadays, Kody says he didn’t love his first three wives. He claimed he stayed for the kids. He ignores any kind of accountability in his three failed marriage. The only one he loves was Robyn and he has the best relationship with Robyn’s children. Kody and Robyn weren’t invited to Christine’s wedding.

They heard about the wedding when they saw an invitation that one of the kids left out. Kody said he didn’t mind he wasn’t invited. Robyn on the other hand said she was hurt she wasn’t invited.

She’s still struggling with the end of her polygamous family. She thought she’d have sister wives. She instead has a husband that’s completely focused on her and she claims that’s a struggle. The couple were still in Arizona. They didn’t move back to Utah like everyone else did. Kody still wants to develop the property they own out there.

Kody wasn’t worried or thinking about Christine. He chose to focus on cutting down a tree that was blocking the view to Robyn’s home. He’s been cutting down trees for over thirty years.

Only the trees tonight proved to be too tricky for him. He had to cut them in stages. He eventually cut off the trees and was given a great view, but the scenario with the trees reminded him about his other children. He never wants to cut his kids out of his life. He still wanted to be there for him and he says he loves them.

Kody also admitted that he loves lots of attention. He didn’t realize how much he attention he likes it until he was only getting it from one woman. Was there a chance of him meeting someone else down the line?

Who knows with Kody! He had three wives walk out. The kids also walked out with them. Kody was seeing from their Instagram that they were hanging out with his sister. He was missing out on the big parts of their lives and Robyn did her best to cheer him up. She reminded him that they still have each other.

Christine’s wedding was perfect. It went off without a hitch. She never had a wedding before. She had a rushed ceremony with Kody when she became his third wife and so having David stand up in front of family to say he chooses her.

He doesn’t want anyone other than her. He just wants to love her and even Janelle said that Christine has been looking for that kind of commitment for over thirty years. Its why she kept butting heads with Kody. Kody couldn’t show favor to one wife over the other. Or at least that was his motto at the start of his marriages.

Kody used to claim that he couldn’t prioritize anyone because he has to think about the future. He has to lead the family through any issues and it turns out the biggest issue proved to be him.

Kody had one rule for his three wives. Then there was another rule just for Robyn. Robyn wanted to start a family business. Robyn encouraged the kids to become polygamists. Robyn wanted to move to Arizona to be closer to her eldest. Robyn, Robyn, Robyn. Kody wouldn’t have devoted half the effort he put into his marriage to Robyn with anyone else.

Meri wasn’t invited to Christine’s wedding. She chose not to feel sad about that. She lost a sister wife and she gained independence. She was now divorced from Kody. She was living in Utah.

She was back to decorating her home. She used to do that in the family. She used to decorate for each holiday and then Covid happened. Meri was so isolated that no one saw her for the holidays. She stopped decorating. She stopped being artistic and it made her so unhappy. And that’s why tonight she said, “Meri is back”.

Meri was finding her joy again. She was decorating for Halloween. She wants to turn her home into a haunted house. Meri was happier with her friends than she was with her family.

Christine found her happily ever as well with David. Janelle seemed good on her own. She visited her grandchildren. She wants to live near them. She also still has a loving relationship with Christine. They were good friends in spite of Kody and so its great he’s not part of their new chapter.

And there was a family Brown mosh pit at the wedding on top of Christine giving David a strip tease.

THE END!
