The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, March 24, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) – and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) said goodbye to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who chased her down to make a pitch to save their relationship.
At Forrester Creations, Hope expected Carter to walk out with her as a team, but he insisted this was his livelihood and the Forresters were his family.
Brooke ultimately piped up about all the division at the company, so Hope felt betrayed by her, too.
After Hope decided there was nothing left to say but goodbye, she stomped off to the cabin.
Carter followed Hope there to apologize for how everything went down, but she felt like he was only trying to justify his actions.
Since Hope had already said goodbye to Carter, she didn’t think there was anything left to talk about.
Carter argued that he could still advocate for Hope at the company and tried to remind her of the love they shared.
However, Hope remained upset over Carter not fighting for her and siding with the Forresters.
After Hope acted like they should forget their relationship and everything that had happened, she slammed him for folding like a house of cards.
Hope insisted Carter didn’t have what it took to be the leader of a company and certainly didn’t have what it took to be with her.
Once Hope ranted about Carter being a backstabber and urged him to leave, Carter cried and refused to let her push him away.
Since what they had was special and worth fighting for, Carter told Hope that he wouldn’t let this be the end of them.
Back at Forrester Creations, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) talked to Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) about her real feelings for Carter and the fact that he deserved better than Hope.
In the design office, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) discussed Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) unbelievable actions regarding Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) before the conversation shifted to the Forresters regaining control.
Electra acknowledged that Carter and Hope had been kind to her along with Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) during all the takeover drama.
Although Electra wished for harmony, she couldn’t make any hopeful predictions about that actually happening.
Later, Daphne and Carter had a discussion with Electra and Will, so that led to Daphne ranting about all Hope’s damage and hoping for Carter’s freedom.
In the main office on Monday’s B&B episode, Brooke acknowledged that what Carter and Hope did was wrong, but she didn’t approve of what Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was doing to Hope either.
After Brooke asked to speak with Ridge privately, Steffy and Eric Forrester (John McCook) left them alone.
That gave Brooke and Ridge a chance to rehash all the issues that drove them apart.
Although Brooke was hurt over how fast Ridge turned to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), she missed Ridge and thought he missed her, too.
Now that the Forrester leadership situation had been resolved, Brooke wanted to move beyond the pain of the past and build trust again.
Since Brooke was still hoping for a future together, she gave Ridge a kiss and pushed him to come home.
Brooke stood there crying as she insisted she wanted to be Ridge’s Logan again.
