The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has been trying to sell Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) on her transformation, so she’s been voicing her regrets and promising she’s changed.
That said, Luna still has a devious look in her eyes sometimes – like when she’s crushing on Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) while secretly spying at the Spencer mansion.
It’s tough for fans to know if Luna has changed or not, and it turns out that’s exactly what Lisa Yamada has in mind when she plays her!
In a new interview with SOD, Yamada talked about her latest version of Luna and whether she’s truly trying to redeem herself.
Although Yamada acknowledged that Luna has committed some terrible crimes, she admitted she still has a “soft spot” for her.
Since Luna had an unstable upbringing and plenty of struggles, Yamada clearly has some sympathy for her character.
Even so, Yamada was quick to shut down the notion that Luna is fully on a better path at this point.
There are still some unhinged layers to Luna that could potentially resurface as this B&B storyline moves along.
“I feel like she’s been through a lot — but I don’t totally want to [commit to the idea] that she’s no longer crazy and is in her redemption era.
I definitely think there’s a little bit of crazy to her still, and that’s what makes her fun,” Yamada said.
Yamada also suggested that she switches it up with her portrayal.
One day, Yamada might take a more manipulative approach – and other days, she tries to make Luna’s emotions feel more authentic.
It’s all about “keeping the viewers on their toes” according to Lisa Yamada, who’s having a blast bringing Luna to life.
The goal is to make fans wonder if Luna is playing the victim or if she has genuine remorse, so we’d say Yamada definitely pulls that off.
Our predictions hint that Luna may have a chance to let her crazy side come back out to play down the road.
It’s easy to imagine Luna manipulating John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) once she finds out he’s her father – and that could lead to another round of wild drama with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), too.
