The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Mishael Morgan is returning to Y&R, so Amanda Sinclair is coming back to the CBS soap. According to Deadline, Morgan is on set filming new scenes this week, so she’ll air as part of a guest arc later this spring.
Amanda was last seen on Y&R in March 2024, so many viewers have been hoping for another return appearance.
It’s always a treat whenever Mishael Morgan is back on-screen – even if it’s just for a short visit like this one.
Of course, Morgan previously played the feisty Hilary Curtis before her character passed away following a tragic car accident.
That opened the door for Morgan to return as Amanda Sinclair, who was ultimately revealed as Hilary’s twin sister.
There’s no word yet on why Amanda is making a comeback, but it’s possible her legal expertise will be needed.
It’s easy to imagine Amanda pitching in as a lawyer down the road, especially once the Aristotle Dumas story heats up.
Amanda really knows her stuff as an attorney and could help with any complications that might be on the horizon for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) or other characters on canvas.
This guest spot might involve a legal rescue that makes Amanda the hero in some way.
Amanda also has a close friendship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so it’d be great if she could give her pal some support while she’s back in the mix.
Phyllis is struggling after her kidnapping ordeal and could use some extra comfort from a familiar face.
Perhaps there’ll be time for Amanda to share a scene or two with Phyllis if it all works out.
Whatever the case, plenty of fans are making predictions on social media and getting excited about Morgan’s return.
