The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could be headed to Fairview or a similar facility if a mental break forces urgent treatment. Phyllis is definitely struggling thanks to “Alan Laurent” aka Martin Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) captivity game, so how far will her downward spiral take her?
Martin put Phyllis and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) through his own twisted form of therapy when he locked them up in that abandoned psychiatric facility, but it clearly backfired for Phyllis.
Although Sharon and Phyllis are getting along better now, Phyllis is having a hard time on a more personal level.
Y&R fans know Phyllis’ erratic behavior is starting to worry Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) – and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) can also tell that Phyllis isn’t quite herself anymore.
During the week of March 24-28, Billy will offer help to Phyllis as she tries to conceal her issues from Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Phyllis will lean on Billy for support, but does she need more assistance than he can give her?
If Phyllis’ trauma continues to take a toll, she might land in Fairview or another mental health facility.
Phyllis could at least end up in Memorial’s psych ward if she experiences a mental break and needs real doctors who can steer her down the path to healing.
Sharon might even play a role in convincing Phyllis that a big step like that is necessary.
It’d be another way to solidify Phyllis and Sharon’s new understanding after their time as hostages together.
Billy was there for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) when she was dealing with her own mental health struggles, but now he’s going to be there for Phyllis as well.
Phyllis will need her loved ones to rally around her as she fights to get back to her old self!
Billy will no doubt make some predictions about Phyllis pulling through this crisis, but it’ll take some hard work and maybe even some professional help to get there.
