The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that fans should always expect the unexpected in the land of Genoa City. Currently, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is locked away somewhere in the little town, in what appears to be a sewage area.
During the Tuesday, January 7 episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) received a dreaded phone call from the police stating that Sharon’s car had been located at the bottom of the river, the very same place Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) lifeless body had been found.
Nick can’t help but anticipate the worst.
Still, fans know that despite Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) instructions, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has decided to keep Sharon alive.
Y&R Josh Griffith has also hinted that Sharon and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will find themselves locked in a dangerous situation, where both will be re-evaluating their dynamic.
Looks like it won’t take long for Phyllis to join Sharon, and boy will she eat her words when she realizes who has been behind all this.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) updated her mom on Sharon’s missing status during the Tuesday show, as well.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was there as well, and both he and Summer were concerned about Sharon; however, Phyllis fluffed the entire thing off.
While she’s trying her best to move forward and not focus on the things she can’t control, Y&R viewers can tell she’s still frothing at the mouth for revenge against Sharon.
In fact, it was so obvious that even Billy questioned Phyllis about whether she knew what happened to Sharon – almost implying Phyllis was behind it all.
Ian is looking to pin Sharon’s death on Phyllis, but what if Jordan shocks everyone with a plot twist where she kidnaps Nick’s other ex-wife?
Both women could find themselves tied up in that sewage basement, fighting for their lives. They’d be forced to work together.
Phyllis may be completely caught off guard when she awakens to see Sharon chained up in the basement.
While she believes Sharon to be a frail little woman who always needs Nick to come and save her if she realizes what Sharon’s endured, she just may just earn some of Phyllis’s respect.
There might even be an instance where Sharon is able to fight back which might also impress Phyllis, but as Jordan will likely have the upper hand on both women, Sharon may be unsuccessful in escaping.
Plus, without her bipolar meds, there’s a chance her mind could start playing tricks on her.
With that said, as Phyllis will have a clear head, being held hostage far less than Sharon has, could she come up with a plan to escape?
Would she leave Sharon behind, or would she risk it all and try to save Sharon too?
Depending on what Phyllis sees, she may be afraid for Sharon’s life to leave her behind.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say dangerous situations always bond people, so are Sharon and Phyllis on their way to potentially becoming friends?
Especially if either woman goes above and beyond to make sure the other one isn’t left behind.
