The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, March 18, reveals that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will steal time with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and admit that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants them back together. Let’s discuss all the drama happening in Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
At Crimson Lights, Summer will give Kyle updates on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) kidnapping ordeal before thanking him for all his support.
Summer will touch Kyle’s arm right as Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) walks in on the close moment.
Claire will seem taken aback, but she’ll play it cool and plant a kiss on Kyle like she’s marking her territory.
After Claire hears the latest news about Phyllis and Sharon, she’ll be relieved they’re OK.
Summer will suggest a new psychopath always seems to be coming out of the woodwork to target her family, so she’ll take a dig over Claire’s past with that comment.
Claire will ultimately work it into the conversation that she was able to get her romantic evening with Kyle back on track after Summer’s recent interruption.
Summer obviously won’t seem too happy about that!
Although Kyle will ask Claire to have lunch with him, she’ll have to get back to work. Once Claire exits, Summer will urge Kyle to have lunch with her instead.
At the GCAC, Kyle and Summer will stop by Victor’s table, so he’ll quiz Kyle about how things are going with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot.
After Kyle confirms things are going well, Victor will claim he’s glad to hear it.
Kyle will refuse to believe Victor’s pleased and will think he’s really just looking for info to prove the Abbotts are about to implode.
Once Victor dismisses him, Kyle will join Summer at a table and complain about Victor.
Summer will talk about Victor trying to tear Kyle apart from Claire and push him back toward Summer instead.
Although Summer will act like she doesn’t support Victor’s way of thinking, she’ll imply that Victor would like to see them reunite for Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) sake.
At Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) apartment, he’ll have a business meeting with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Winters (Bryton James).
Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will interrupt with concerns since he learned Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) was admitted to a hospital in Chicago.
Nate will realize he missed some calls during his meeting, so he’ll get in touch with Amy’s doctor and confirm that her new treatment started right away.
Damian will be alarmed over how fast all this is happening, but Nate will offer reassurance.
When Damian decides maybe he should head to Chicago and support Amy, Nate will offer to go with him.
It’ll leave Nate seeming hopeful about bonding with Damian on this trip as brothers.
At Society, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will join Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at the bar, where he’ll call her out for giving him mixed signals lately.
Audra will confess that Nate was behind the text confirming that they could be friends, but she’ll be open to the idea as long as Holden respects boundaries.
Holden will want to start proving himself with a harmless lunch, so he’ll invite himself to crash Nate and Audra’s upcoming meal together.
Once Nate cancels due to his Chicago trip, Holden and Audra will dine alone.
Holden will recall how Audra used to drink more booze and be a lot more carefree.
Once Holden reminisces about some funny memories, he’ll get Audra laughing right as Lily and Devon walk in on them having a good time.
After Devon and Lily have a rather chilly encounter with Holden and Audra, Holden will realize Audra hasn’t won over Nate’s family quite like she’s won over Nate.
Over at a table, Devon will think it’s best to mind their own business. However, Lily will worry that there’s more to the story than Holden and Damian have told them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will continue investigating, so she’s bound to make other unsettling predictions along the way.
