In tonight’s Tracker episode, Colter Shaw does what he does for the money. He was a rewardist. He helps people searching for something or someone. He tries not to get personally entangled with work, but he couldn’t help looking back at this one case. His white whale as some would call it.

He was brought in to find a missing woman. Her name is Gina Pickett. She was in her twenties. She left work and was never seen again. Colter has been looking for her for years. He’s never found anything. His friends were no help. The victim’s sister also wanted him to give up. She was ready to move on and so Colter meeting Keaton came at the right time.

Keaton was a former detective. He assisted Colter on another case. Colter then trusted him with Gina’s file and the two of them went through everything. The chief suspect in Gina’s disappearance has always been her then admirer. His name is Frank Whales. He constantly asked her out.

Gina called him creepy. Some men have been known to destroy what they cannot possess. Whales was questioned and he refused to discuss Gina. He’s never cracked. He also doesn’t bother to report Colter for breaking into his place every year on the anniversary on Gina’s disappearance.

Colter always tries to intimidate him. It never worked and so Keaton took a new approach to the case. Keaton kidnapped one of Whales’s friends. He tortured him for information. It turns out Whales was working for a man back then. The man calls himself “teacher”.

Whales and his friends were often used to lure in pretty young girls. They then handed the girls over to the teacher. Whales and even his buddy claimed they didn’t know what happened after they did that. Only that was a lie. They knew those girls were being harmed if not killed.

Colter went back to Whales. He took Keaton with him. They figured out the reason Colter has never found anything in Whales’s house. It was because Whales left the only evidence on him at all times. He kept Gina’s hair pin. The same one she was wearing when she disappeared.

Colter finally had evidence that Whales saw her on the night she disappeared and so he pushed for answers. Colter and Keaton said they already knew about the teacher. What they didn’t know was how he lured Gina outside.

Whales admitted he was told to stalk Gina. He saw her one day. He thought she was the teacher’s type. He sent a photo of her to the guy and the man demanded that Whales found out everything about her. He knew exactly what to say to lure her from work that day.

Whales found out her favorite band. He pretended like he did some work for them. It was enough to get Gina into his car and he drove to a barn. He left when she went inside. He never saw for himself what happened. He also stopped all communication with this teacher person after that.

Whales later directed the men to the farmhouse. It’s been abandoned for years. It probably happened once Whales stopped all communication with the teacher and so they didn’t find Gina there. They ended up finding the body of a young man. They also found a tape.

The teacher and Gina were on the tape. She was tied up. She was asked who was the most important person in her life and she said her sister.

She was also asked to give up her sister’s phone number and location. The teacher said he lost someone when he was young. And now it was her turn.

Gina didn’t play ball. She yelled at that freak to stay away from Camille. Her final moments might have been her protecting her sister. The video ended before they could see what happened to Gina, but Colter still made sure that Camille saw the tape.

He wanted to show her that they finally had a lead. She was ready to give up before and now she needs answers. They were so close to getting answers. They also believed this teacher has grabbed a new girl. Her name is Hannah Olson. She disappeared a few days ago.

Hannah’s case was similar to Gina. She was also wasn’t the only one that disappeared. There was another missing person named Brandon Stokes. He was young. He was handsome. He was also on the sex offender registry. This teacher would grab boys from that registry off the street.

He played the great father figure. He saw them for their worth. He made them feel special and in return they’d do anything for him. Whales didn’t just walk away like he claimed. He got cut loose. He was getting too old to lure in the young girls.

Whales was let go. In spite of that, he still felt some kind of loyalty to his teacher. He knew where the man was taking his new victims and so he offered to show Colter where. Colter got Whales a lawyer. He actually got him Reenie. Reenie pointed out to Whales that the teacher doesn’t love him.

He was already trying to make a new protégé with Brandon. It was enough to convince the broken man to show Colter where he was “made” by his teacher. The two of them drove to an old asylum. Colter left Whales handcuffed in the backseat.

Somehow Whales managed to escape. He could have run and he didn’t. He stuck around. He saved Colter’s life from Brandon. He also pursued his teacher. Colter actually met this teacher before. They had looked into the farmhouse where Gina disappeared. It was owned by an elderly man named Patrick Campbell.

He was in a retirement home now. He’s been there for fifteen years. He has dementia. His only family was his daughter, her husband, and their two kids. It turns out his son-in-law was this demented teacher everyone was talking about.

His name is Noah Darview. He used to lure in his victims himself until he got old. He then enlisted disciples to help carry out his plan and he took one last victim before he was arrested.

He killed Whales for standing up to him. He also tried to take his own life and Colter stopped him. That along with finding Hannah alive forced Darview to come clean.

Darview told the cops where the bodies were. He’s been crossing state lines for years without anyone suspecting him. And so it wasn’t just Gina they found.

But Camille finally got the closure she’s been looking for.

THE END!
