From the moment Gabi got together with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), their relationship has been doomed to blow up over her past alliance with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
Gabi’s secret Tony partnership led to him getting the leverage he needed to undo the Titan-DiMera merger.
Since Gabi played a key role in all that, she’s a big reason why the Kiriakis clan is dealing with such financial turmoil right now.
Gabi is obviously hoping to make things right if she gets her hands on Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) inheritance, but that won’t fix all the lies she’s told.
Days spoilers say Philip is going to be furious and devastated when he realizes Gabi has been deceiving him for months.
Of course, Gabi’s had some close calls where it seemed like she was on the verge of confessing to Philip.
However, Gabi ultimately let the secret snowball until it became this dark cloud hanging over her romance.
Things might’ve been different if Gabi had come clean sooner, but she stayed tight-lipped and will have to pay the price for that.
Philip seems poised to dump Gabi and leave her crushed, but where might the story go from here?
It’s possible Days writers will offer another twist once Philip and Gabi inevitably break up.
Perhaps that could be when Gabi realizes she’s finally pregnant with a miracle baby.
DOOL fans know Gabi doesn’t think she can have more children, so she’s accepted that at this point.
Even so, Gabi admitted she’d give anything to have another baby last year and left fans wondering if a second child might ultimately be in her future.
In Days’ May 14 episode, Gabi might’ve just offered a clue about an upcoming pregnancy storyline.
During Gabi’s confrontation with Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia), she dramatically played up how Ari was the only child she’d ever have.
Whenever soap characters start saying things like that, it’s often time to start suspecting surprise pregnancy news is brewing.
If Gabi finds out she’s having a miracle baby with Philip, that could be what saves her relationship with him in the end.
