General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 22, indicate that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will stand her ground while “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) tries to make Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) see things his way.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also trade surprises, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
For starters, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will urge Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to give the green light on eliminating Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), especially since Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) is willing to pitch in on that.
However, GH fans know Sidwell is blackmailing Laura and Sonny with incriminating Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) evidence.
If Sidwell dies, he’s arranged for that evidence to be released.
Sonny may argue that he can’t let that happen – especially to Laura – and suggest they have to delay Sidwell’s grim fate until they can figure out a real solution.
That said, Sonny may have some concerns if he hears about Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) breaking in Wyndemere.
If Sonny starts to fear Sidwell poses a threat to Danny, that might convince him to bump up his deadly timeline regardless of the consequences.
Over with Lulu and Laura, they’ll trade surprises on Friday’s episode.
Lulu may admit she has to leave town with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Ethan since that’s her current plan.
Lulu may hint about Rocco’s drama and ask Laura to help look after Charlotte while she’s gone.
Although Lulu will catch Laura off guard, Laura will surprise her right back.
There’s a good chance Laura will approve of this getaway plan since she wants her loved ones far away from all the Port Charles danger.
Laura might even push Lulu to take Charlotte with her, but Lulu may be adamant about her daughter needing to stay in PC.
At the PCPD, “Nathan” will push Dante to see that Lulu leaving with Rocco is the best way to keep them safe.
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) could end up wanting to bury secrets and could bury Rocco in the process, so “Nathan” will plead with Dante to help keep his son alive.
Dante and “Nathan” have already been concerned about the possibility of Cullum figuring out who shot him.
“Nathan” and Dante don’t know it yet, but Cullum has indeed reached a conclusion about Rocco being his shooter that night.
In Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) office, she’ll urge Rocco to persuade Lulu and Dante that his PC exit has to happen today.
Rocco may think Dante’s going to be a problem and ultimately ask Britt if he can leave Port Charles with her instead.
Britt might turn Rocco down at first, but she could change her tune if she gets confirmation that Cullum knows the truth and that he’s searching for Rocco.
Will Britt flee with Rocco by her side after landing in a desperate situation?
In Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) room at GH, Cullum will stop by and make a rather ominous statement.
“You’ll be taken care of. I’ll make sure of it,” Cullum declares in Friday’s preview video.
Although Brennan will seem like he’s locked in, there’s a chance Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might’ve negotiated with him off-screen.
If Nina didn’t give Brennan another paralytic injection, then he might be faking his paralysis with a hidden agenda.
Speaking of Nina, she’ll have a conversation with Willow on Friday as well.
That’ll bring Willow’s news about helping Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) along with her promise to keep using her position for good.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Willow will give Laura some positive info too, so she may admit the favor paid off and Anna’s getting transferred to a private facility.
