General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) could eventually have a reason to reveal his connection to Phoebe if she’s indeed his daughter.
The show hasn’t confirmed Ethan is Phoebe’s biological father, but they’ve dropped plenty of clues to suggest it.
GH writers might pull off a twist if someone else is the bio dad instead, but it’s also possible things are exactly as they seem!
Ethan certainly knew Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) and cried over not being able to help her before her demise.
Now Ethan seems protective of Phoebe, so he asked Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) if she thought Phoebe would be happy with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
It’s clear that Ethan is concerned about making sure Phoebe has the best life possible.
Of course, there may come a point when Ethan decides Brook Lynn and Chase can’t give Phoebe that.
Brook Lynn is keeping secrets about drinking, driving, nearly colliding with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and fleeing the crash site.
Chase may also be on the verge of an affair with Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) – and there could be proof if Elaine (Judy Kain) scores it.
Even if Chase and Brook Lynn manage to dodge these major scandals, Ethan could block them from adopting his baby if he claims Phoebe as his own.
Ethan might prove it with a paternity test and decide he should get a say in what happens to Phoebe.
What if Ethan ultimately encourages Kristina to adopt Phoebe instead?
Kristina held and bonded with little Phoebe in the May 13 episode as Ethan watched nearby.
Ethan also heard the story of Kristina losing her baby girl and showed compassion since losing a child is one of the hardest things a person can go through.
It’s possible Ethan might want to raise the baby with Kristina, especially if the show switches up her sexuality again and gives her a romantic reunion with him.
Then again, Ethan might simply want to help Kristina fill the hole in her heart after the death of her own biological daughter.
Ethan might insist Kristina is the person he trusts to adopt Phoebe and ask if she’d like that opportunity.
Kristina could suddenly have another chance at being a mom, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s where this story might be headed.
