General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Cassius Faison, aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), could have more medical drama in his future.
GH fans know Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) beat Cassius up pretty badly during their showdown in her apartment.
Cassius finally won the fight by putting Josslyn in a sleeper hold and throwing her into captivity at Wyndemere.
However, Cassius’ ribs were banged up enough for him to visit GH in the aftermath. After Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) handed off “John Doe’s” case to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she gave Cassius some very specific instructions.
Britt insisted Cassius had to use the incentive spirometer 10 times every one to two hours.
Although Britt was adamant that Cassius needed to take this seriously and do it right, he didn’t seem all that concerned.
Britt argued that if Cassius didn’t follow orders, fluid could build up in his lungs and lead to pneumonia.
Cassius assured Britt that he’d follow her instructions, but will he really? It just didn’t seem like Cassius was as serious about the situation as Britt was.
Cassius is a busy man now that he’s got hostage Josslyn to deal with on top of everything else, so he may not do what Britt told him to do.
If Cassius does end up getting pneumonia as a result, that could complicate his world and maybe even put his life on the line.
At the very least, it could lead to questions about “Nathan’s” rib injuries and how he got hurt in the first place.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and other people in “Nathan’s” life may start digging a bit deeper.
“Nathan” was hoping to bury all this with that “John Doe” angle, but that may not be possible in the end.
Of course, Cassius may have bigger problems to worry about if he indeed winds up struggling with pneumonia.
Cassius might have to let Pascal (Marc Forget) take the lead on babysitting Josslyn, which could be another path to disaster since Pascal isn’t all that competent!
