General Hospital Thursday, May 21 Recap: Cassius Blocks Josslyn’s Getaway

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, May 21, reveals that Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) stopped Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) escape while Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) found herself in a tight spot.

In Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) office, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) stopped by to quiz her about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and blame her for dragging Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) into his current mess.

At home, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) some tough love over his Wyndemere break-in and let it slide when Danny avoided admitting why he was there with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).

Britt spoke with Danny alone later and confirmed that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told her to say he was the shooter before he was dragged away.

Danny ultimately had sympathy for what Britt was going through with her medication being held over her head.

Danny also confessed that Cullum caught him along with Charlotte shortly after Britt left the castle.

Since Cullum had been asking questions about the shooting, Danny wondered if Cullum thought he was the guilty party.

Danny noted that he was busy finding Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) at the time of the shooting, so Britt realized Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had probably informed Cullum of that by now.

At Lulu’s place, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) showed up with the fake passports as promised.

Ethan hid the delivery behind his back while Lulu sent Rocco to the store for laundry detergent.

Once Rocco was gone, Ethan let Lulu know that her fake name would be Sarah Anderson while Rocco’s would be Tyler Anderson.

If Lulu needed a private plane and pilot, Ethan knew someone discreet who could help with that.

Lulu thought it was best for her to handle things herself and figured she had time to put her own plan in place.

Dante was suspicious when he showed up and found Lulu hugging Ethan.

After Ethan took off, Dante saw the packed bags and got Lulu to admit she was making preparations to run with Rocco.

At one point, Rocco eavesdropped on Dante and Lulu’s argument before taking off again.

Dante refused to let Lulu make Rocco a fugitive and vowed to have officers assigned to monitor her so that she couldn’t do that.

Lulu realized she needed to act fast, so she dashed off to meet back up with Ethan.

In captivity, Cassius brought Josslyn breakfast, but she hid in her bedroom quarters and smashed a chair over his head when he appeared.

Josslyn tried to make a break for it, but Cassius stopped her.

After Josslyn ranted about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) being gaslit there, she showed Cassius the wall that Anna had written on.

Cassius insisted he had nothing to do with Anna’s stint in captivity, but Josslyn still blamed him since he knew about it and did nothing to help Anna.

Once Cassius was gone, Josslyn found some makeshift weapons that Anna had tucked in the bed and was grateful.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) alarmed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with the news that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was arrested for assault.

Chase explained that Curtis punched Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) since he believed Isaiah was the other driver who fled the scene of the crash.

Brook Lynn got agitated and rushed to Isaiah’s defense before Ethan showed up looking for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

That gave Ethan a chance to hold Phoebe (Luna and Lucia) after Brook Lynn offered to let him.

Next, Alexis arrived with a lead on Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) tattoo.

It was connected to Japanese artist named Kiyoko who was based in Manhattan, so Alexis planned to go digging at the gallery and hinted about having some help.

Once Lulu summoned Ethan, they met up in the park.

Lulu admitted she wanted to take Ethan up on his offer since she needed to leave with Rocco fast – and she needed Ethan to go with them.

Back with Rocco, he found his duffel bag and was looking at his fake passport when Britt called. Britt asked to see Rocco in her office at GH immediately since this was important.

At the PCPD, Dante grilled “Nathan” about whether he was helping Lulu with her plan to leave town.

“Nathan” wasn’t, but he confessed that he’d help Lulu if she asked,

At Wyndemere, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) clashed with Pascal (Marc Forget), who wanted Lucas dead for getting Marco killed over Britt’s medication drama.

Lucas assumed that Pascal was keeping Sidwell in the dark because he was the one who tipped off Cullum.

Pascal lashed out because he thought Lucas had stolen the vials and assumed he’d be the one Cullum killed, not Marco.

Since Pascal couldn’t rat out Lucas without signing his own death warrant, Lucas assumed the butler would stay silent.
