The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, May 14, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) shared his thoughts on the Forrester co-CEO drama while Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) eavesdropped on Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).
At Forrester Creations, Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) impressed Dylan with all her perfume expertise and let her new assistant keep a bottle to wear on her next date.
Daphne was sure Dylan must have no trouble meeting guys, but Dylan wanted to focus on her job and fixing her friendship with Electra.
As Dylan gushed over missing Electra and talked about her being one of the best friends she ever had, Electra appeared in the doorway and overheard her.
Electra seemed genuine about congratulating Dylan on her promotion, so Daphne gave them a chance to talk alone.
Dylan credited Electra with helping her turn her life around and insisted she meant what she said before.
Dylan assured Electra that she missed her and their friendship, so Electra seemed to be softening toward her.
At Logan, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) was annoyed since she assumed Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wanted to be co-CEO of Forrester to compete with her as the CEO of Logan.
Bill argued that if Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t have the spine to stand up for Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) line, then he certainly didn’t have one when it came to pushing Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out of the co-CEO spot.
There was no way it was happening according to Bill.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) debated the situation with Bill and Katie since they knew the co-CEO decision would affect Hope’s future.
At Brooke’s house, she insisted Ridge would get through to Steffy.
Hope knew Steffy was going to put up a fight, but Brooke remained confident and felt her new co-CEO status would be good for Hope, too.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy reiterated that Ridge shouldn’t choose Brooke over her.
After Steffy predicted the chaos that would erupt, she blamed Hope for influencing Brooke and felt this was about getting back at her over pausing Hope for the Future.
Steffy made it clear that Brooke couldn’t have her position and pushed Ridge to say he agreed with her.
If Brooke wanted more money and ways to be in the limelight, that was fine by Steffy.
However, Steffy was adamant about not breaking up the Forrester co-CEO team she’d built with Ridge.
Once Hope met up with Liam on Thursday’s B&B episode, she suggested she was still waiting for official word on the co-CEO situation.
Although she appreciated the Logan offer, Hope couldn’t walk away from Forrester Creations and abandon her line yet.
Hope was still counting on Brooke to slide in Steffy’s spot.
After Ridge came home to Brooke, he distracted her for a moment with a gown that was designed for her.
Ridge had the garment bag, but Brooke was more interested in hearing whether he’d done what she’d asked and convinced Steffy to step down.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge may have some bad news for Brooke soon enough, so stay tuned.
