The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 8, reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spill something while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) puts Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) through an interrogation about Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani).
Since Riza tried to play up her connection to “Spider” while they were all in Vegas, Chelsea will have some questions for Adam in Friday’s Y&R episode.
Adam may be put on the spot when it comes to how far he had to take his little Riza charade.
Adam might admit there were kisses involved, but they were all for show.
Although Riza hinted about taking things to the bedroom at one point, Adam wasn’t actually interested in her and had no intention of crossing that line.
Chelsea might also worry since Riza suggested “Spider” was a player who didn’t want to settle down.
Adam may admit that was the case back when he was living in “Spider’s” world, but now he only wants Chelsea and their life together with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
While Adam works to reassure Chelsea about their future together, Y&R fans will see Nick’s next move.
Nick just looked over toward the GCAC bar, where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is currently talking with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
If Nick launches a confrontation, that could lead to Matt insisting he has amnesia and throwing Nick for a loop.
However, there are some other people standing nearby, so Nick’s view of Matt may be obstructed.
There’s a chance Nick will walk away without realizing Matt is back in town.
Regardless, Nick will meet up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) eventually and let her in on a secret.
Victoria may find out about Nick’s drug addiction and how he nearly died in Vegas.
Over with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), she’ll once again sound the alarm to Phyllis.
Lauren may have concerns about the escalating legal drama or even Phyllis’ interaction with twisted Matt depending on how much Lauren puts together.
