The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will remain worried about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) since he recently confessed his drug addiction.
Nick tried to convince Victoria that he had it under control, but she still worried about the possibility of a relapse.
It turns out Victoria was right to worry since Nick scored more fentanyl pills and is using again.
Nick can’t really function without drugs right now, so he’s been sneaking them to keep himself together for his latest Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) mission.
However, it’s clear that Nick can’t go on like this.
No matter what’s happening with Matt, it’s too dangerous for Nick to be popping fentanyl and continuing down this drug-addicted road.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has already been concerned about Nick, so he’s tried grilling his brother and doesn’t buy his detox claims.
Victoria won’t buy those claims either in the May 20 episode, especially if she sees Nick’s drug used with her own eyes.
There’s a good chance Victoria will spot Nick popping pills since she’s on the verge of discovering some heartbreaking news.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will back Nick into a corner and push him to make a confession about his recovery.
Nick may be forced to admit that he scored more drugs, but he’ll probably try to convince Victoria that he’s got everything under control.
Victoria will see that’s not the case, so she may push Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to come together for their son’s sake.
Victor and Nikki will indeed put their marriage problems on hold during the May 21 episode since Nick will need them both more than ever.
Nikki will dig her heels in on May 22, so that could be about Nick entering rehab right away.
Nikki might even insist that Nick’s outpatient plan isn’t enough and argue that he needs to check in a facility that can monitor him around the clock – at least for now.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will get some tough love that’ll hopefully help him get on the right track, so stay tuned.
