The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of May 25-29 reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will leave his loved ones fearful again while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) deals with some worries of his own regarding Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
Y&R’s weekly promo shows Kyle voicing concerns about Diane, who hasn’t been to the office in two days or slept in her bed.
None of this will be normal as far as Kyle’s concerned, so he’ll sound the alarm to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
That could lead to a debate about whether Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) or even Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might’ve made Diane disappear.
However, there may be a less scary explanation if Diane is off sulking somewhere because she assumes Jack rejected her.
Diane left Jack a voicemail to say she was ready to try again, but then she had a horrible dream about him moving on with Patty.
That nightmare really messed with Diane’s head, so that could be the reason why she’s hiding out.
Diane might assume that Jack got her message and didn’t respond because he’d already given up on their marriage.
In reality, it seems like Jack has somehow missed this voicemail. Jack may hear the message soon and realize he needs to find Diane ASAP to let her know he still wants her back!
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll deal with an excruciating headache and tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about it.
Nikki will admit she thought it went away, but it’ll ultimately come roaring back.
Victoria may assume it’s related to all the stress Nikki’s been dealing with due to Victor and now Nick.
It could leave Victoria concerned that Nikki might fall off the wagon if she’s not careful.
Of course, it’s also possible Nikki has some underlying health issue that’s about to set off alarm bells, so that’s an option to keep in mind.
Y&R’s weekly preview video also shows Nick collapsing and losing consciousness, so it’s clear that he needs professional help ASAP.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will come to Nick’s rescue along with his other loved ones, but he really needs to concentrate on rehab ASAP.
