When we last checked in with Amanda Seyfried in July, she confirmed that she was dating someone who wasn’t in the film industry, and that she was ‘crazy’ about him. Ok, great. But fast forward three months later, and Amanda is dating Justin Long. Wow, that was fast, was it not?
Apparently, Justin’s friends think so as well. According to a new report from Star Magazine, sources close to Justin and Amanda don’t think that Amanda is the ‘right’ girl for Justin. A source explains, “Justin wants to settle down and get married, but his friends don’t think Amanda is the right girl for him.”
The source adds, “He tells his friends that he’s a big boy and they shouldn’t worry about him. But only time will tell.” To be fair, Justin and Amanda are grownups and I think if Justin’s ‘friends’ spoke to a tabloid about his relationship, they were probably never his friends to begin with. That being said, Amanda is definitely a serial dater, and this is coming from someone who actually likes her as an actress.
She seems to get into super intense relationships really quickly, and then move on fairly quickly as well. It would be fine if she was just having fun and it was nothing serious, but she even admitted that she’s only had sex a few times and she tends to only look for serious relationships right off the bat. That means that every guy she dates, it’s a proper ‘relationship’. And that means that in the past two years alone, she’s probably dated around 4-5 guys.
So will Justin finally be the ‘one’? Eh, I doubt it. But like the report says, only time will tell.
