About six months ago Angelina Jolie underwent that double mastectomy after finding out that her chances of getting breast cancer were ridiculously high. At the time her doctors suggested that she wait about six months before undergoing any kind of reconstructive surgery but Angie instead had her breast implants done immediately. I guess that she believed that if she got everything over with then it would make it easier to go back to work in less time.
Instead, according to the Nov. 11th print edition of Star magazine Angie is really regretting her decision. Apparently she is having a lot of chest, shoulder and back pain leading her to fear that she’s constantly teetering on the edge of infection. Angie’s afraid that she didn’t really think things through enough and made the wrong decision. She was so focused on just getting everything over with that at the time it never occurred to her that she could end up having complications.
Angie is also worried that the implants are slowly leaking and are ultimately going to require more surgery which is ironic since a second surgery was what she was trying to avoid in the first place! Do you think that Angie was foolish not to take her doctor’s advice and wait until her chest healed before having the reconstructive surgery done?
