Bicoastal relationships tend to be really rough, especially when kids are involved, yet that’s exactly the kind of marriage that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are choosing to have. There have been rumors swirling around them for quite awhile now and it has been over 3 months since the last time the formerly red-hot couple was photographed together (see above pic for their last photo op). In fact just a few days ago Nick was spotted on the red carpet alone for the TeenNick Halo Awards in LA.
According to Radar Online Mariah is opting to spend her time at home in NYC and she has admitted that the couple has some serious issues. A big one is the fact that Nick’s career has really picked up since they first married and his hosting duties on America’s Got Talent make it necessary for him to spend a lot of his time in LA where they film. Mariah says that while her husband loves the left coast, she’s not exactly a fan.
Nick’s comedy is also an issue because while Mariah likes to guard her privacy her husband tends to air their dirty laundry for laughs. It’s something that she thinks lacks class and girlfriend doesn’t hesitate to check him when his comments go to far. When you put all of these things together it’s kind of amazing that Nick and Mariah are still married. It sounds like there could be so much friction now that the only way that they can stay together is by putting miles between them on a regular basis, don’t you think?
