It has been more than a few months since we have heard about Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough being spotted out with a woman (Nina Dobrev) for an appearance, right? Well, he was spotted in LA at Rock & Reilly’s kissing Nikki Reed a few short weeks ago. If you recall she recently announced her divorce from Paul McDonald and within the hour of doing so Nikki’s wedding ring was off.
According to the May 19th print edition of Star Magazine the two have been hanging out quite a bit in recent weeks but of course it’s nothing serious. I have to chuckle at that because every dalliance that Derek has is nothing serious. Instead of having a real girlfriend he bought a spacious starter home in the Hollywood Hills with Mark Ballas. That interesting move led fans to once again question whether or not Derek is actually gay. Or perhaps a bi man that enjoys kissing women?
For whatever the reason, Nikki seems to think that there is something worthwhile between them. I guess my question is whether or not this relationship will only last a few weeks like Derek’s connections with Nina Dobrev and Lauren Conrad did. Do you think that he and Nikki will actually turn serious or are they over already? What are your thoughts on those gay rumors?
