We are four weeks into the Utopia experiment. The group will select two people to be considered for ousting and America will select a third candidate. It’s day 27 and everyone is thinking about who should be voted out. Hex has taken charge of the garden and Mike is helping her. He says he’s still not sure about who he wants voted out. Mike thinks Rob has done a good job of working well with everyone while Red refuses.

Red is doing Bri’s work because she’s sleeping in again. Bella is upset about the garden and Josh tells her that when he comes into power today she needs to just let it go. He says he’s going to get her some art supplies and wants her to focus on that. Rob and the others talk about Bella failing to use the tools they got for her to water the garden. She tries to blame it on Rob but the group clearly thinks she dropped the ball on this one.

Hex tells Taylor she won’t let Bella back in the garden and Taylor says he doesn’t want to be around Bella – she’s too weird. They are kissing and talking and we see that they even got busy behind the woodpile. She tells him he smells like weed old hair spray and that he needs to take a shower. The group’s idea to rotate leadership now brings Josh into power and he says he likes what has been done but wants to talk investment.

He says he wants to build a workshop for projects like glass blowing and other craft projects and says Amanda can even have her baby there. He asks the group to make suggestions about the design of the space. They decide to have some fun first and roll out some plastic to make a giant slip and slide. Josh puts on his banana hammock and hops onto it. Everyone takes a turn and it looks like wet fun. The group also has vets remote monitoring Bri’s care of the animals.

Bri is underfeeding the cows and is told she can’t ration the food. The veterinarian tells them that Red seems to have a better understanding so Bri is fired and Red is hired as the cow whisperer. Amanda and Josh talk about who should go. He says Bri has done the least. He says Red annoys him but is up early and working hard. Bri tries to defend herself to Red and the group. She gets snippy and defensive and tells him it’s his job now.

Josh starts on the workshop and he calls it the love shack. He and Chris go take a look at the site. Hex goes to talk to Rob and says they have brought the same crap into Utopia that’s the problem in the real world. Rob says every civilization has been based on another and Hex says if they aren’t going to innovate they should just call it smaller America. She says there should be no money or religion and Rob says that won’t work because you need to be able to keep people in check.

Rob says when you have people like Red that want to defect you have to build based on distrust. She says she thinks Red will go home soon but Rob tells her that he thinks he will escape the vote. Taylor, Mike and Aaron discuss their attitudes about women. They ask if he would dump Hex if a hotter girl came through the gate. He laughs. Nikki tells Chris he’s disrespecting Bri and they step outside. Bri says he doesn’t respect women.

Nikki says that Bri is sweet and needs to not let him treat her like that. She offers o be a shoulder to cry on. Amanda and Bri talk about who America will nominate. Bri says she would feel like an ass if American picked her. Bri asks who she’ll vote for and Amanda says she was thinking about Bri. She tells Bri she needs to step up her game and work harder or she’s going to be nominated. She tells Amanda she appreciates her honesty.

Amanda talks marriage with Josh and Ernesto. She says Josh is a gigolo and he admits he was dating a rich rock star’s ex and was thinking about how much money she would get. Ernesto is looking for true love and Josh says everyone wants to be happy but won’t hook up with a woman who doesn’t have a good job. Bri asks Chris if he wants a sleepover tonight and he asks if she’s making rules. Chris tells her she thinks she’s entitled and a pain in the ass.

Bri says if he doesn’t want her she’ll go talk to Aaron and he tells her not to play thig game with him. Amanda stops by and when she goes Bri says the people here are ready to stab you in the back. He tells her she’s in the hot seat and needs to work or keep bitching and moaning and make them want to pick her. He tells her that people have to leave and says he’s down with that. Next day, everyone wakes with one day left until nominations.

Josh checks on Red at the barn. They talk about who they should vote out. Josh says Bri has contributed the least. Red says Bri can deliver the cow’s calf but Josh says she’s lazy and he says Aaron’s cooking job could be done by anyone. Bella is out messing with some plants, petting their auras or something and acting like the nutter she is. She comes back in and tells Ernesto she watered the pomegranates.

he has a list of stuff for her to do and to leave the garden alone. She actually doesn’t argue. Dedeker and Mike are kissing out in the field. She decides to walk the fence and he offers to hold her hand for balance. The guys are working on the workshop. Hex tries to help but Taylor tells her to go take a shower. Josh has all the materials but needs a few more tools.

They all vote on expenses but for Red who has seceded. They ask Josh how long the workshop will take to build. He says he needs $375 for tools. Rob says they need materials to build things. Red raises his hand and says they can build without these tools. Rob says he has a problem with Red participating and then Josh says that he cashed out so he doesn’t have a horse in the race. Josh sends everyone off for chores. Red tells Rob that he’s not his bitch.

Rob tells Red to get out of his face. Rob says Red isn’t even part of the conversation and shouldn’t even be there. Red calls him a bitch again and Rob tells him that he’s got his vote and he hopes he’s going home. Hex calls everyone outside and says the calf was born. They all run out. They agree to call her cash – as in cash cow. Bri cleans up the calf and it stagger to its feet and takes its first steps. Everyone is excited about the new baby.

The vets told Red and Bri they need to separate the calf from its mother if they want to be able to sell it. Bella shouts instructions that aren’t helpful. Taylor tells Bella she’s incredibly dumb because they’re following the vet’s instructions. A chicken runs off with the umbilical cord. Bella is grossed out and goes. Chris is annoyed with Bella and says they are fine without her and says Saturday is coming quick and she should remember that.

Red asks Amanda what her baby thinks about being born in Utopia. Red calls her little one Baby Bear. They suggest she name the baby Adam or Eve. Bri writes a letter to Chris about their relationship. She takes it over to him and he lays it aside. He says he’ll read it when he gets a chance. She tells him if he doesn’t want to be with her anymore that’s cool and he says she’s being weird. He basically tells her she f-d up their relationship and he needs time.

He asks for his sweater and shirt back. She tries again to get him to read the letter. She says she wants to stay in Utopia and he tells her she can’t get everything she wants. Red is up early the next day bottle feeding the new baby. Today is nomination day and it’s all everyone is talking about. There is a big board in the main house to record the votes. The voting is completely public and Amanda and Ernesto say this can change everything.

Rob calls everyone in for the nomination process. He says he thinks they should all take this seriously. The two with the most votes will be nominated. He says he’s going to make his nomination and say why. Rob says he’s voting for Red because he thinks for the group the angry Red hurts the overall vibe. He puts one mark in Red’s square. Josh is next and says he’s voting for who has done the least not who he likes the least. He votes for Bri.

Nikki says they placed a lot of trust in Aaron to keep them healthy and it maybe wasn’t good. She votes for him. Taylor votes for Bella. Bella is next and she says negativity is bringing the group down and some aren’t working very hard. She also votes for Bri. Hex reads a statement about how some people are erratic and cause more problems and interrupt the process. She votes for Red. Chris votes for Bella and says she tears them apart and won’t compromise.

Bri says Utopia should be about love and peace. She votes for Bella because she’s always fighting. Dedeker says Utopia is weird but the outside world is weirder. She says she has to vote out someone who really doesn’t want to be part of the group. She votes for Red. On his turn, Red says they don’t need a chef, but a cook to save more money. He votes for Aaron. Ernesto says he hasn’t had enough time to get to know everyone so he votes for Bri and says it’s not personal, just business.

Kristen and Amanda both vote for Bella. Mike says he’s all about social change and rebellion and says great things come from fighting the majority but can’t be based on anger. He tells Red he could have worked in the system but refused and so votes for him. It’s a three way tie between Bri, Red and Bella and Aaron is the last to vote and could break the tie. He says the best time he had was the day Dave left and everyone came together.

He says he loves that harmony and the arguments break that up. He says he weighed pros and cons and everyone had more pros than cons except for two that like to argue. He votes for Bella and says she likes to push her opinion on everyone else. That pushes Bella up over the top and makes her the first pioneer up for nomination. He hugs her.

Rob takes back over and says they have to break the tie before America nominates. But Red sacrifices himself and says he’ll be the second nominee. Rob opens the envelope with America’s vote and says the viewers voted for Bri. So Bella, Bri and Red are all up to be voted out. Rob says he hopes that all of them really want to give this a shot and that’s what they should bear in mind when deciding who to cast out. Bella goes outsdie and talks to the sky talking crazy.

Hex encourages Red and Nikki props up Bri and says she doesn’t think she’ll be the one leaving. Each has three days to change the group’s mind about them. The vote is on Friday.

THE END!
