People are becoming concerned at growing evidence that Susan Boyle may be showing signs of not being able to cope with the pressures of stardom. In the past 48 hours she has had two disturbing incidents. Firstly she had a bit of a meltdown in her hometown cafe after her assistant is rumored to have told her she needs to go on a diet. Then 24 hours later she had a tantrum in the British Airways VIP lounge at Heathrow.
No surpise here really – I cannot believe that someone her age can suddenly be put on the worlds stage and act as if it were completely normal. She has lived the life of a spinster for many years and the change will not be easy for her to adjust to.
Meanwhile Susan will make her first appearance of the new year on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Jan. 19, 2010 where she will belt out her new single “Who I Was Born To Be.” from her debut album "I Dreamed A Dream".
