TLC’s popular reality TV show 19 Kids And Counting has captivated the country over the past six years, and fans of the series have watched the Duggar kids grow up right before their eyes. In 2014, it was announced that not one but two of the Duggar girls would be tying the knot after months of courting. Jill Duggard met her hubby, Derick Dillard, on Skype after her father Jim Bob set them up. After hours of video chatting and a whirlwind trip to Nepal for their first meet and greet, Derek proposed to Jill in March 2014 and the couple said “I Do” in June 2014. Now, Derek and Jill Dillard are expecting their first baby!
According to the November 3rd edition of OK! Magazine, Jill and Derrick wasted no time getting their family started and Jill is 23 weeks pregnant. The happy couple dished to the tabloid their birthing plans for their first baby. OK! reveals that, “Jill and Derick intend to handle the pain and chaos of childbirth with the words of God. They’ve been dutifully transcribing a selection of Bible verses onto a scripture board which they plan to use for encouragement during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. They’ve also picked out Christian songs to soothe Jill and welcome their newborn into a holy place.”
It sounds like Jill and Derick have their baby’s birth all mapped out, the question is will they be able to stick to their birthing plans once the reality of the situation settles in?
