Tonight on the CW The 100 returns with an all new Wednesday February 4, season 2 episode 11 called “Coup de Grace,” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, Brutal consequences are faced by Bellamy [Bob Morley] and Lincoln [Ricky Whittle]. Meanwhile, Abby fights to stay in control; and Jasper confronts President Wallace.
On the last episode, Lives were at risked as Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa (guest star Alycia Debnam Carey) encountered a new emeny. Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) agreed to work together to break into Mount Weather. Murphy (guest star Richard Harmon) helped Jaha (Isaiah Washington) confront his past. Meanwhile, Indra (guest star Adina Porter) makes Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) an offer she couldn’t refuse. Paige Turco and Henry Ian Cusick also star. Bellamy wakes as a collar is snapped onto his neck. He’s decontaminated along with Lincoln and then scrubbed clean. They put a tube down his throat and shoot a pill down it then give him a shot. Jasper tells Maya that Monty has been missing for two days and she says she checked the harvest chamber last night. He tells her to check it again and says they took his best friend. She tells him that he needs to look like everything is okay and tells him not to do anything stupid.
She leaves and Jasper says it’s time to do something stupid. Clarke, Abby and the Grounders ride hard then stop. They’re being watched. One of the snipers watching says he could make the shot from here but the other says not to. Abby tries to get her to slow down but Clarke says they have to ride. Abby says she needs to trust that she knows what’s right for them. She tells her they need to go home.
They mount up and the snipers ready a shot. One of the snipers is shot and that makes him loose a shot which warns Clarke. Indra and Octavia sneak up on the other sniper but lets Octavia have the kill. She slices his suit open and then is ready to slice his neck when Clarke rides up and says they need him alone. She says to see if he has a patch kit. Octavia finds a photo of she and Lexa on the shooter and tells her that she and Lexa were the targets.
Indra sends their fastest rider to warn the commander. Bellamy wakes in a cage and a grounder tells him to lie still because they take the strongest first. He doesn’t understand and she calls him a sky person and spits on her. He tells her they’re not enemies anymore. He says he needs to get out of this cage and then he’s going to kill everyone in this mountain.
Jasper goes to see President Wallace. He says two of his friends are missing, one of them Monty and asks where they are. He tells Wallace to not lie about this. He says they lied about Maya’s accident and there not being any ark survivors. He corners him and pulls a weapon from the stack of historical objects and demands to know the truth. Wallace asks him to put down the sword. Jasper says if he does, he’ll disappear next.
Wallace says he doesn’t know and Jasper asks if he looks desperate and presses the sword into his neck. Wallace says he lied about Maya, Clarke and the survivors. He says he’s trying to protect them. He demands to know where Monty is. Wallace gets the sword away from him and says it’s not a toy. He buzzes in security and says to find out where Dr Tsing and his son are. Wallace tells Jasper they need to take a walk to find his friends.
Abby calls for blood to try and save the Grounder while Clarke works on the Mt Weather guy. Clarke says he got radiation poisoning. Raven asks why she’s not with the radio and she says Octavia is on it. Raven agrees to rig up something so they can treat the mountain man without exposing him to radiation. Abby tells the grounder to stay with her. He dies.
Indra says his fight is over and cuts off one of his braids. She then asks Clarke why a killer lives while a warrior dies. Indra says she can make him talk. Abby says he may talk just because they save his life. Indra calls them weak and walks out in disgust. Abby asks Clarke if she’s okay and she says he needs a transfusion of their blood.
Abby tells her that it’s okay to be upset that someone tried to kill her today. Clarke says it’s just another day on the ground and says she’s going to engineering. Bellamy tries to get loose of the cage. She tells him to quiet down when they come for a donor. They go for the girl but Bellamy kicks at his cage until he distracts them and they go for him. They drug him and he conks out.
He’s strung upside down ready to be drained. Maya is looking over charts in the sick bay. She hears a noise and one of the sergeants comes in. He says he needs to know how many cages to clear for treatments. He says she was done an hour early and says a 25 minute treatment is an hour early. She says the guy he’s looking for went to the mess hall.
Maya looks at the blood lines coming into the patient and then follows them into another room. Bellamy is hanging there. She hears people talking and cages rattling. She grabs a syringe and jabs it in Bellamy’s side. He gasps to life. She asks who he is and asks if he’s from the ark. He says yeah. She asks if he knows Jasper. He asks her to get him down and calls her Maya.
Lovejoy comes in and asks why she’s there since she’s not cleared fro this room. She says she just wanted to see what was so special about him but says he’s dead. She unhooked the lines. Lovejoy comes over to look and then lowers Bellamy to the ground. He pulls he chains loose and tells her she’s brave for coming in. Bellamy kicks out at him and Lovejoy pulls a gun.
Maya stuns him and then gets his gun. She tells Lovejoy to stop but he won’t. He moves to kill Bellamy but he backs Lovejoy up against a cage and the grounder girl grabs him. Bellamy chokes the guy to death. All the cages are rattling, He thanks the grounder girl. He asks Maya if she’s all right. He touches her and asks again. She says she’s fine. He tells her to help him strip Lovejoy and get rid of the body.
Kane looks at the mountain men they have in an airlock chamber. He says Raven did a good job working this up. He asks Abby when he’ll wake up and she says soon because their blood heals them. Kane says that’s why the kids at the mountain are in trouble. She tells him about the hit out on Clarke and Lexa and says Mt Weather and the Grounders all see her as the leader of the sky people.
Kane says she’ll be all right but Abby is not reassured. Bellamy is in the guard’s uniform. He locks the door then opens the hatch to dump Lovejoy’s body. He tells Maya she’s done enough and should walk away. She says he doesn’t know where he’s going and he asks her to draw him a map. She says no that she’s in. She gives him the gun. He says he needs to get to the radio to contact Clarke.
She tells him their people are disappearing – she says Monty and Harper are gone. She says the dorm is on the way to the radio. She snatches off Lovejoy’s name tag and says to put on the hat and roll up his sleeve. She says they have to take out the tracking chip so it won’t trip the alarms once they start moving. She asks how he knew her name and he says Clarke told him that Jasper wouldn’t stop talking about someone named Maya. She pulls out the tracker and says to put it in his cage.
He tells the grounder girl he’ll come back for her and says it’s a promise. They head out. Dr Tsing is cutting into Harper and Monty begs them to stop. They dig into her with the drill again while she begs them to stop. Wallace comes in and tells them to get away from her and release Monty. Jasper pulls him out of the cage. Tsing says the ground is their birthright and he can’t keep them from it.
He orders Tsing locked up and tells Jasper to tell the other kids to pack up because they’re going home. He tells the other guard to take him to Cage.
The mountain man wakes up and Kane is interrogating him. The guy will only give his name and position. Clarke looks at the photos he had of she and Lexa in his pack. Kane asks him to help them bring an end to all this. He repeats his name. Kane says he’ll talk if they open the door. Abby turns off the sound and says they’re not doing that. Kane says they need to know what he knows.
Clarke says torture doesn’t work. Abby and Kane argue. Abby says she wants the mountain man under 24 hour guard. Maya tells Bellamy there are only 382 people in the mountain and they all know each other. She tells him to keep his head down. A guy hops on the elevator with them and says he missed her in class. Maya shakes her head at Bellamy to get him to calm down.
More people get on the elevator and they stand still. One guy notice that Bellamy is bleeding and she covers it by saying he was exposed and she’ll take care of it. Cage is in the ops center when his dad comes in and asks if he’s been working with Dr Tsing. Cage says they’ve accomplished great things. Wallace says Cage is a stain on their legacy.
Cage says they’ve been bleeding people for generations and that’s their legacy. Wallace orders his son taken into custody and Cage says he just wanted to give him his dream. Instead, they take Wallace into custody and Cage says everyone wants to go to the ground and you can’t blame them. He tells them to put his father into quarantine and the guard calls Cage Mr President and takes Wallace away.
Raven works in her shop and listens to the radio. She says she can replicate the frequency. Clarke says that means they may be able to neutralize the reapers. Octavia comes to ask about Bellamy and Lincoln but they tell her no word yet. Clarke and Kane are called to holding. Abby says she found genetic markers in the shooter’s blood that indicates he’s got their blood.
Clarke says they’re bleeding her friends and is ready to kill him but Abby tells her she’s not in charge and that they’re doing things her way. Clarke stomps off angry. Maya pulls Bellamy out of the way during class change. A kid tells Bellamy that his dad is training for a ground unit. Bellamy tells him it’s cool up there and hopes he makes it.
He’s sickened by the little preschool and says they’re just kids. Maya asks what he thought he’d find there. She tells him to come on. Jasper tells the other kids they’re leaving and need to pack now so they can go before they change their minds. Monty says they’ve been lying to them the whole time. He says the ark is on the ground and they’re not safe. He tells them to get moving and they do.
Maya shows up with Bellamy just as the doors are shut down. Bellamy asks what’s going on and Maya says it can’t be good. He tells her to get him to the radio. She nods and they head off. Jasper sees him before they go. Clarke goes to see Raven and says they’re too late – they’re bleeding them. She says it’s over but Raven says no she can’t give up.
She tells her that she didn’t give up even after she killed Finn. She tells Clarke to come up with something. They hear Bellamy and she asks if he’s all right. He says something has changed and says all the kids have been locked up. He says he thinks they’re all alive but it’s about to give ugly. He says Maya helped him. He says there are little kids in there so they need to try and not kill everyone.
She says as soon as he disables the acid fog, they can move. She says he needs to free the grounder prisoners since they’re already inside. He says he needs her to buy him some time. She says she’ll come up with something and he says to make it quick. She says he came through and she knew he would. He says all he’s done is not get killed. She says to keep doing it. She hands him off to Raven.
Clarke says she’s going to look outside instead of in. Wallace is brought his painting supplies to the room he’s been locked down in. Cage takes over his dad’s presidential digs. He sits behind the big desk. Monty tries to take care of a deeply injured Harper. The kids are locked into their dorm and worried. Clarke gathers her troops.
She marches to the containment center and tells the guard to back off. She tells the sniper to get dressed because he’s coming with her. Abby sees Clarke marching out with Emerson. She tells her that she’s taking him. Abby says to put him back in the air lock. The grounders step up behind Clarke. She tells her mother that she may be chancellor, but she’s the one in charge.
Abby then tells Indra to have her people stand down. She says no. Clarke tells her mom to get out of the way and says to trust that she knows what needs to be done. Kane tells Abby that the grounders trust Clarke and they should too. Abby tells the sky people soldiers to stand down. Clarke orders the gate opened. She stops Emerson and asks if he can hear her. He says loud and clear.
She tells him to tell their leader that they’re coming for him. She says the grounder army is bigger than they think, the reapers can’t hurt them and neither can the acid fog. She says to tell him to let their people go or that’s it. She says it’s an eight hour walk back to mt weather. She lowers his oxygen to six hours and says he better hurry. He says he can’t do it but she says that’s his problem and tells him to go.
Octavia asks Clarke how this helps Bellamy. She says the more that the mountain men are looking outside at them, the less they’ll be looking inside at Bellamy. She tells her that if Bellamy dies, they all die and he’s the key.
