'General Hospital' Spoilers: 2015 Daytime Emmy Award Pre-Nominations For Outstanding Actress, Actor And More!

“General Hospital” spoilers tease that the ABC soaps 2015 Daytime Emmy Pre-Nominations are officially in! After last year’s disastrous Emmy Awards, GH fans are hoping their beloved daytime drama receives the recognitions it deserves. In 2014, “General Hospital” was snubbed in all major categories, which left a sour taste in a lot of loyal GH viewers’ mouths. But after the stellar ratings the soap has achieved, and their impressive climb back up to the top, we are sure that this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards will be a different story.

Outstanding Lead Actor Pre-Nominees: “General Hospital” spoilers tease that three GH actors have been nominated for the coveted “Lead Actor” Daytime Emmy Award. Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine), and Anthony Geary (Luke/Fluke) are all up for the award this year. Patrick Drake and Nik Cassadine both had some pretty hard-hitting stories in 2014, but if an actor from GH is going to win the award this year – there is no doubt in our minds that it will go to Anthony Geary after his epic portrayal of Luke Spencer and Fluke.

Outstanding Lead Actress Pre-Nominees: According to GH spoilers Maura West (Ava Jerome) and Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) are the two “General Hospital” actresses up for “Outstanding Lead Actress.” As far as soapy romance goes in 2014, Wright’s character Carly nailed it with her near-death experience, to her engagement to Franco, and then of course her affair with Sonny. But Ava Jerome is a bad-ass, it takes a special actress to be able to pull off crypt-sex.

Outstanding Supporting Actor Pre-Nominees: Chad Duell is up for a Supporting Actor Emmy again this year for his portrayal of Michael Corinthos. The character of Michael has grown a lot in 2014 (not necessarily in good ways), but his hard-hitting scenes with Sonny Corinthos, disowning his mother Carly, dumping his girlfriend Kiki, and holding vigil at AJ Quartermaine’s death bed all make him a serious contender.

Outstanding Supporting Actress Pre-Nominees: “General Hospital” spoilers tease that a slew of our favorite leading ladies are up for the “Outstanding Supporting Actress” Emmy this year. Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), and Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay). All four women have had equally stellar scenes in 2014 and some prominent storylines, there is no telling which one will come out on top.

Outstanding Younger Actor & Actress Pre-Nominees: Some of our favorite actors and actresses from the younger crop of GH stars have been nominated for 2015 Daytime Emmys as well this year. “General Hospital” spoilers tease that the following all received pre-nominees: Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos), Tequan Richmond (TJ), Haley Pullos (Molly), and Kristen Alderson (Kiki Jerome).
