Bobbi Kristina Brown’s extended family is still coming after her Whitney Houston inheritance, so it’s not shocking to hear that perhaps they’ve made a jump start on it. According to a new report from Radar Online, a 10-carat $250k diamond ring that Whitney Houston gave Bobbi Kristina Brown has gone missing. Yes, that’s right – missing.
This is the same ring that Bobbi showcased on Instagram when she announced to the world that she was ‘engaged’ to Nick Gordon in 2012. In fact, the ring may have been missing for a while, but it only came to light when Nick asked his mother, Michelle Gordon, if she had the ‘ring’ on his Dr. Phil episode. Michelle ended up telling Nick that she did have the ring, and that she would keep it safe. However, Radar Online’s sources are claiming that a Houston family representative actually reached out to Dr. Phil for help in locating the ring, which means that either Michelle Gordon was lying or she was mistaken about the ring that Nick Gordon was referring to.
Of course, neither Bobbi Kristina Brown nor Nick Gordon – the two people most intimately acquainted with the ring – are in a place to go hunting for a missing ring, no matter how expensive or how precious. Bobbi, as we know, is still in a coma in the hospital, and Nick is in a substance abuse rehab program.
The likeliest scenario is that someone from Bobbi’s extended family stole the ring when they saw their chance, and when everybody else was occupied with Bobbi’s health and/or the much larger $20 million fortune. They must have assumed that nobody would miss a $250k ring when there were much bigger amounts at stake, and they were somewhat correct. It took a few weeks for people to realize the ring was missing, but now that everybody knows, will they manage to find it? Or will stay ‘missing’? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
