Bobbi Kristina Brown’s status remains unchanged, and the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is still in a coma at DeKalb Medical Facility. Bobbi was found unresponsive and face down in her bath tub on January 31st and rushed to an Atlanta hospital. Upon arrival, the troubled 22 year old was placed in a medically induced coma and put on life-support, and she has not made any improvements – if anything, her condition is rumored to have worsened. Bobbi’s father Bobby Brown refuses to give up on his daughter and is optimistic that one day she will miraculously wake up.
In March, Bobby Brown was faced with a difficult decision – the doctors at Emory Hospital in Atlanta informed him that there was nothing more they could medically do for Bobbi Kristina. Bobby was given a choice: remove his daughter form life-support and let her pass away peacefully or move her to a long-term care facility to wait and see if one day she miraculously wakes up. Bobbi Kristina’s relatives Cissy Houston and Pat Houston travelled to Atlanta for a family meeting and pressured Bobby to remove life support from his daughter – family friends told the media that the Houston Family “wanted this nightmare to be over.”
Despite Cissy and Pat bullying Bobby to take his daughter off from life-support, he chose the latter and moved her to DeKalb Medical where he visits her on a regular basis and remains optimistic that she will wake up from her coma one day. Why wouldn’t Cissy Houston and Pat Houston want to hold out for a miracle when it comes to Bobbi Kristina’s survival? Well, they have 20 million reasons they want Bobby to take his daughter off from life support.
When Bobbi Kristina’s late mother Whitney Houston passed away in 2012, ironically also from drowning in a bathtub, she left her $20 Million inheritance to Bobbi. In the case that Bobbi Kristina Brown were to die before being able to receive the inheritance, then the money is willed to Cissy Houston and Whitney’s brothers, one of which is married to Pat Houston. As long as Bobbi remains on life support, the money is tied up in the trust, and slowly depleting.
If/when Bobbi Kristina passes away, the money will be divvied up to pay for her funeral and medical bills and then the remainder will go to Cissy and Pat. The longer that Bobby Brown keeps his daughter on life-support, the smaller and smaller the inheritance becomes. Cissy and Pat haven’t given up though. Rumor has it that they are determined to get Bobby Brown to take his daughter off from life-support and bury her so that they can cash in on their small fortune.
