Fans of 19 Kids and Counting are still trying to wrap their minds around the Duggar Family sex scandal, and the shocking bombshell that Josh Duggar had molested four of his younger sisters when he was 14 years old – and a friend of the family’s was also one of his victims. Since the sex scandal came to light, the Duggars’ skeletons have been falling out of their closets left and right. And, according to a new report, Josh Duggar was far from “cured” after he was “too curious” with his sisters.
The Duggar Family insists that Josh groping and fondling his little sisters while they were sleeping was not molestation and he was just a “curious teenage boy.” However, they believe that whatever issues and curiosities he had were dealt with by the church elders and a counselor – and he was punished and changed his ways. Wrong! A new report from In Touch Magazine reveals that just two years later when Josh was 16 years old he was caught up in another sex scandal!
According to the July 20 edition of In Touch Magazine, “In 2004, two years after Josh confessed to molesting his younger sisters, the 16 year old worked on a campaign for an Arkansas politician. After the election they discovered that Josh had been looking up porn on one of the campaign computers. The politician lost the election – and full blame was put on Josh.” Apparently, the politician in question was very religious and an important member of the church. He promised the church that God would “ensure a victory.” So, when he lost the election, it was apparently God’s doing because Josh Duggar had brought sin to their campaign by sitting in the campaign office and watching porn.
It’s really not shocking that a 16-year-old boy used probably the only opportunity he had to access the internet – to look up porn. What is concerning is the fact that the Duggars insisted Josh went to counseling and no longer had sexual issues, and then less than two years later got caught up in another sex scandal.
