General Hospital Spoilers: Jake Admits Secret to Liz – Hayden Scared Silent – Carly Accuses Morgan of Murder

General Hospital Spoilers: Jake Admits Secret to Liz - Hayden Scared Silent - Carly Accuses Morgan of Murder

Here are some “General Hospital” spoilers for the Monday, August 10 episode when GH gives us a look at two possible Silas murder scenarios. First, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are worried that Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) killed off Silas Clay (Michael Easton). They decide to confront Morgan head on and he’s offended they asked him if he murdered someone. But Carly has thought this through and explains to Morgan the murder scenario she’s envisioned. Carly says she knows Silas threatened to tell Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) about his affair with Denise DeMuccio (Maura West).

Carly makes excuses to try and get her son to talk and says maybe Morgan just got upset and when Silas told him to call Kiki and confess the affair or he’d make the call for him, Morgan snapped and stabbed him. Likely it’s not Morgan that did the deed, but it’s concerning that his parents think he’s fully capable of homicide. Also, and of interest, is that “General Hospital” rumors are swirling that Morgan is bipolar like his dear old dad Sonny, but that’s no excuse for murder.

Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) wants to know from her brother Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) who the other suspect is that he got the phone call about. Will Nathan tell her in confidence that Franco (Roger Howarth) wants him to look at Ava? Between the appeal from Nina and the call from biological mom Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Nathan begins to doubt they have the right man in custody with Franco and will see the wisdom of digging deeper.

Kiki is wondering if Franco could have done in her dad Silas and she asks Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) if she thinks Franco killed Silas. Sam is no fan of Franco since he wreaked havoc on her life and Jason’s as well, but she may not be so quick to jump to that. After all, what is the motivation for Franco to kill Silas? Plus Franco has been on an even keel since he got the tumor out of his noggin. Too bad Franco won’t be able to defend himself without implicating Nina.

Franco is sure the killer is Ava. He presents the second scenario of the GH episode explaining that Silas wouldn’t back down on his threat to tell Kiki about Denise being Ava and her cheating with Morgan and she stabbed Silas in the back to stop him from dialing the phone to call Kiki. It all seems plausible, but the problem is that Franco can’t turn Ava in because she was savvy enough to snap a photo of Nina with the knife in her hand. So we know that Ava was at Silas’ place, but did she kill him?

And Jake Doe (Billy Miller) admits to Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that he’s been keeping a secret from her. Liz will panic since she’s feeling so horribly guilty over her own secret-keeping, but what will Jake admit to? Is he going to tell her that he and Sam are investigating Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) to test her loyalty? It won’t be long before Jake knows he can’t trust Liz then he’ll have to decide what to do about her betrayal.

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) gets a terrifying visit from Nikolas. Since Liz has forbidden Nik to off her, he has to scare her into silence. Hayden will play like she doesn’t know him, but Nikolas won’t buy her act. He will threaten her and Hayden will either play dumb or agree, but either way, she will be scared. The big question is whether Hayden might end up back at Wyndemere. Attempted murder aside, Hayden likes hot, rich guys and may leverage her information for a room at the castle.

These Silas murder scenarios are interesting, but we’re a long way of knowing who really did it and it’s neither Morgan nor Ava. Stay tuned to CDL for daily “General Hospital” spoilers and more on the murder mystery as it unfolds.
