Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson is getting married (and not to Chris Soules)! The dancer, who is currently paired up with celeb partner Carlos PenaVega took to Instagram on Saturday October 3 to announce that she was engaged to be married to her boyfriend Carson McAllister.
Carson and Witney were actually high-school sweethearts, and have been together for four years – which is strange seeing as how Carson is rumored to have been hooking up with former Bachelor Chris Soules earlier this year.
Carson shared an adorable photo of herself and McAllister posing on a beach and captioned it, “”My love of four years @carson.mcallister proposed last night & I feel like the luckiest, happiest woman in the world. It was perfect, he’s perfect #engaged.”
Carson’s Dancing With The Stars fans and some of her co-stars immediately bombarded her Instagram post with well wishes and congratulations for the happy couple. DWTS pro Emma Slater tweeted, “Congratulations to my babe @witneycarson and her love @carson.mcallister on their engagement! I couldn’t be happier for you two. Eeeeek!!!” Alison Holker also shared a photo of herself and Carson and congratulated her on her engagement as well.
So far there is no news yet on the wedding date, or any details for that matter. Seeing as how Witney Carson is in the middle of Season 21 of Dancing With The Stars – she most likely won’t begin any wedding planning until after her stint with Carlos PenaVega is over. And, Carlos is a frontrunner for the Mirror Ball Trophy this season, so it doesn’t look like Witney Carson will be eliminated from the competition any time soon, which is still in the early stages.
