These “General Hospital” spoilers will get you ready for cliffhanger Friday, November 13 – this GH episode will be mostly Jason-centric.
There is a liar’s conclave taking place out at Wyndemere. Those in the know – Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) – have a chat about the Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) secrets that are still under wraps. Laura barters with Hayden to keep her silence on what Liz knew. Hayden is the wildcard in the group.
It’s an interesting flip flop for Laura who’s now trying to protect Liz since the truth about Jason is out. Laura never wanted to hurt Liz, she just didn’t want Liz to start a new marriage with a lie. But now Laura is trying to help Liz keep Jason, if possible, and keeping Hayden quiet is key. What will Hayden ask for to buy her silence? And how will Hayden’s secret partner in crime play into this scenario?
Jason is trying to sort out the mess somewhat by visiting his son Danny Morgan, but then Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) freaks out on him and goes on a crying jag because she’s crushed that he doesn’t remember her. Jason is a nice guy so he tries to comfort her, but that will turn into a passionate kiss. Yowza! Everyone wants to see JaSam back together, but it’s unlikely he’ll bed her today.
After all, Jason is in love with Liz. He’ll be the one to pull back and it will get awkward fast. Will Jason tell Liz that he kissed Sam? That’s her worst nightmare since Liz just asked Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) to keep them apart.
Did you notice that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) mentioned that Jake’s apartment is empty? Will Sam and Danny end up there after Sam confesses to Patrick about the kiss?
Patrick has been very Zen about these developments, but knowing that Sam kissed Jason may be too much for him to take. His optimism on their future may dim and he may worry that she’s ready to fall back into bed with Jason.
Of note, Jason Thompson is still leaving GH, but might have signed a contract extension to carry him through the New Year until February sweeps to let this storyline play out a little longer and prolong the pain!
Before Patrick finds out about the JaSam smooch, he gets a call back from Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) to tell her that Jason is back from the dead and cruising around Port Charles. Is this old news to Robin thanks to her Cassadine connections? How much will she tell Patrick about what she knows and could she come back to PC to help Jason recover his memories?
Robin and Patrick’s daughter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) gets the crushing news from Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) that her mom-to-be has an old hubby that’s turned up which means her dad and Sam won’t be getting married as promised.
Emma may not be able to handle losing another mother figure in her life. Will she act out? “General Hospital” rumors indicate Emma might be in peril.
Over at the PCPD, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) finds out that his plan to control Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) by giving her a job may backfire in his smug face. The first thing Anna does is pull out the “solved” case of the shooting of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and starts looking into it. Paul tries to shut that down with threats which will make Anna suspicious of him and intensify her curiosity.
Other things happening soon include Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) coming back to hang with his BFF Jason. Also, Alexis tells Julian Jerome (William deVry) she ran into their son-in-law Jason and tells him this is hard on Sam. She also shares concerns that Jason’s mob past may catch up to him and put all who love him at risk. Julian sees the parallels to his life.
Also, the hit and run is not a dead issue. Franco (Roger Howarth) is pushing to get his car repaired, but this may implicate him in the accident. Franco encourages Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) to behave better. Did her drunk driving accident scare her straight? And could Kiki hitting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) backfire on Franco and get him in trouble since it was his car? Issues for coming days…
