“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers indicate that shocking revelations are on the way today for Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) compliments of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and these could wreck his relationship with Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Liz is terrified Jason will find out she’s known his identity for months. She should be worried – the ugly truth is close to coming out. When it does, will Jason hate her as much as he hates Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher)? And once Liz and Nikolas are confirmed as Port Charles’ most-hated citizens, will they turn to each other for comfort? Let’s consider…
Once Jason finds out how long Liz has known who he is, he’ll be furious for sure, but he might get past it, if not for Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco). Sam won’t let this go and knows it’s the key to getting Jason away from Liz for good and back to her, Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) be damned.
Sam will heavily leverage this fact and remind Jason she’s always been there for him even when she didn’t know the truth about who he really was, that she’s been there for him for years, and will be there for him for years to come. It won’t be long before she’s got the amnesiac hitman back in her bed and out of Liz’s life!
But wait, doesn’t Nikolas already have a girlfriend in Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig)? Yes, but not for long. Hayden is hot on the trail of that mystery bullet fired the night she was almost killed and is partnering with her alleged assassin Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) to find out the truth.
She can’t go poking around the garage to look for evidence because she doesn’t know who killed her and whether she’s still at risk. Shawn sends her a compadre to help – new guy Curtis (Donnell Turner). Curtis will help Hayden get the answers she needs and that will lead her back to Nikolas as the author of her shooting.
Once Hayden finds out Nik hired an assassin to take her out, he’d better watch out. Plus, she’s keeping secrets from Nikolas as well – namely her clandestine partnership with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) with whom she’s plotting the takeback of ELQ from Nikolas.
Sure he’ll feel betrayed when he finds out Hayden was working with Tracy, but that’s nothing compared to him trying to have her killed. The bottom line is we’re likely looking at a bust up for “Nikayden” soon. And that leaves both Nikolas and Liz all alone and the most-hated in Port Charles.
They may turn to each other as everyone else in town turns their backs on them for their treachery. Liz and Nikolas have had sizzling chemistry in the past, so why not again? Liz and her boys could even hide out with Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) at Wyndemere to avoid the stress of everyday Port Charles’ interactions.
Think about it – the only people in Port Charles likely not to give a damn about what they’ve done is a short list. Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford), Franco (Roger Howarth), Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Julian Jerome (William deVry) are likely the only ones who won’t care.
