The Bachelor 2016 winner Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins engagement is in trouble, and it looks like a break-up is in the Season 20 couple’s near future – that is if they haven’t broken up already. The Bachelor 2016 spoilers confirmed weeks ago that Ben Higgins gave his final rose to Lauren Bushnell – but what spoilers didn’t reveal was that Ben Higgins told both Lauren Bushnell and Jojo Fletcher that he loved them during their Fantasy Suite dates, which is not going over well with his new fiancé.
The show itself seems to be the leading cause of the demise of Bachelor couples. Lauren and Ben were perfectly happy – and she was rumored to already be making wedding plans, until she caught a few episodes of The Bachelor on ABC and realized that her fiancé was in love with another woman.
Lauren Bushnell thought she had the competition in the bag from day one, so you can imagine her surprise when she saw her fiancé telling Jojo Fletcher that he loved her, the day after he professed his love for Lauren. Love doesn’t just go away when you get engaged to another woman – Lauren B. would have to be a fool if she thought Ben didn’t still have feelings for Jojo a few months later.
Of course, the fact that Lauren now realizes Ben chose her because his mother told him to is not helping matters either. Ben Higgins’ mother apparently played a significant part in the elimination process. After Ben’s hometown dates, his family was pushing hard for Lauren Bushnell to become Mrs. Ben Higgins, is that the only reason that he chose her?
The Bachelor 2016 spoilers have revealed that Bachelor Ben changed his mind numerous times the day of the final rose ceremony. Winner Lauren Bushnell never realized until she saw the show that she BARELY received the final rose. Now that Lauren B. knows that Ben wasn’t just in love with her and that his family basically told him to pick Lauren – planning a wedding is the last thing on her mind.
Sources close to the couple have confirmed that their engagement is hanging on by a thread – and the couples’ friends and family seem to think that it will be a miracle if they actually get married.
