“The Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie (Heather Tom) will continue to battle the bottle. Katie just hasn’t been herself since she learned Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) still had feelings for Bill (Don Diamont).
The revelation sent Katie down a dark path and it’s only going to get darker.
Katie will stay busy by digging into Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) secret, but even all of that nosiness won’t be enough to keep her away from her liquor stash. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Katie will find time to knock back plenty of booze as usual. It’s quickly becoming a serious issue.
Bill was understanding when he first realized Katie had a problem. He urged Katie to get help before it got out of hand. Bill trusted that Katie had everything under control, but he was clearly mistaken. Once Bill found out about Katie’s lies, he had to get a bit tougher. Katie sobbed in Bill’s arms as she declared that she couldn’t live without him.
Now Katie runs the risk of losing her last chance. B&B spoilers for May Sweeps say if Katie doesn’t get her act together, there could be major consequences. Bill is trying to be patient, but he can’t let Katie go on like this. She could become a danger to herself or worse, their child.
Bill may have to put Will’s (Zane Achor) needs above the needs of his wife.
B&B spoilers indicate that Bill will push Katie to make changes and she’ll push right back. Katie doesn’t seem to realize how much she stands to lose. Bill will threaten to take Will away from Katie if she can’t get a grip. Their son doesn’t need a drunk for a mother.
There was a recent casting call for a lawyer, so it’s worth pointing that out. A custody battle could be brewing.
Katie will undoubtedly get defensive about her behavior. We should see Katie throw the blame back on Brooke. Bill may even take some heat for not doing more to ward off the interloper. Brooke and Bill have been having a lot of secret meetings about Katie lately. She isn’t aware of most of them, but it still shows that Bill and Brooke are playing with fire.
Wouldn’t phone calls be sufficient? Must Brooke and Bill whisper within striking distance of each other’s lips? These two are just begging to be tempted and Katie knows it. Nevertheless, Katie may find that she’s done more to sabotage her own marriage than anyone.
