The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 5, tease that Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) good intentions will lead to a disappointing revelation. At the hospital, Abby will talk to Stitch (Sean Carrigan) about renting a lake house for Labor Day. She’ll suggest that they should check Max (Jared Breeze) out so he can join them for that weekend.
Stitch will seem uncomfortable with the idea. When Dylan (Steve Burton) brings Sharon (Sharon Case) in, Stitch will give her an injection to help with her poison ivy. He’ll gaze at Abby while she holds Sully. A little later, Abby will call Max’s facility. She’ll state that she wants to surprise Stitch by bringing Max on their trip.
Abby will be stunned when she learns she isn’t on the facility’s list of family members for Max. When Abby confides in her mom, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will urge her to have a chat with her husband. Abby will find Stitch and mention her concerns, but he’ll brush them off.
Stitch will admit that he isn’t ready for another child after all. He saw Abby with Sully and he just can’t handle having another baby at the moment. Abby will accept Stitch’s choice and agree that they can wait until the time is right.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that a huge argument will ensue when Lily (Christel Khalil) makes a motion to remove Hilary (Mishael Morgan) from the board. Once they finally put it to a vote, Jack (Peter Bergman) will have to break the tie. He’ll consider giving Hilary the boot, but she’ll pipe up that she’s settling the lawsuit.
Since that offers a bit of a compromise, Jack will let Hilary keep her position. Later, Devon (Bryton James) will have a conversation with Hilary about priorities. She’ll claim that she wants to concentrate on her love for Devon.
Jill (Jess Walton) will meet with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to discuss returning to the company. Y&R spoilers say Victoria won’t be interested in helping Brash and Sassy. It would just give Victor (Eric Braeden) satisfaction. Jill will manage to get Victoria drunk and annoyed about Billy’s (Jason Thompson) marketing strategies.
Victoria will announce that she’s going to talk to Billy about his plans. After taking a cab to the Brash and Sassy offices, Victoria will find Billy and scold him for his dumb ideas. He’ll counter that Jill is just trying to get Victoria back at B&S. Cane (Daniel Goddard) was the one spouting stupidity.
Once Billy notices that Victoria is drunk, they’ll discuss the time they had too much to drink in Jamaica. Billy will remember how beautiful Victoria looked. He’ll encourage Victoria to join Brash and Sassy’s team so they can get rid of Cane. Victoria will finally pass out and drop her head in Billy’s lap.
In Monday’s episode, Victoria will give Jill updates on her decision to come back to the company. Jill will be elated by the news. She’ll feel like her reunion plot is working out perfectly.
