New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will be back soon with important baby news for Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) but will it be what Lulu wants to hear? GH spoilers hint that it’s a shocker.
Remember when Robert delivered to Lulu the update that her dad Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is alive and well? Lulu took the opportunity to ask Robert to look into the fate of her embryo that had been in storage at Crichton-Clark clinic. Lulu asked if he could tap WSB resources to get info.
Ironically, Robert doesn’t need the WSB to answer the question about the fate of that embryo. All he needs to do is look closer to home – specifically to his daughter Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). Robin is one of the few non-Cassadine people to know the truth.
Just as Crichton-Clark was about to go boom, Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) came to save Robin who was being held there and forced to do research for Helen Cassadine (Constance Towers). Helena had the embryo container in her hand and even gave it a smooch.
Robin saw all of that and knew that Helena left Crichton-Clark with the embryo and it survived. In fact, Robin may be the only chance to discover this info – the WSB probably wouldn’t know it at all even though they did clean up at the exploded clinic.
So when Robert goes looking for the truth, he should talk to Robin since he knows she was there. This is likely where Robert will get the info he needs to chase down the facts of the case. You have to wonder why Robin didn’t tell Lulu before… But once Lulu finds out that the embryo survived, what then?
Obviously, Lulu will want to chase it down and that should lead her back to the empty envelope riddle that Helena left her. She told Lulu when she had nothing else, to follow the lead. Lulu feels now that she has nothing else when it comes to having another child.
Whether Lulu and Dante head back to Cassadine Island – or Robert does the legwork for them – clearly this is all coming down to answers in Greece. Lulu is hoping to find the embryo so she can be implanted and have the full pregnancy experience she missed out on with Rocco.
Instead, what she’s far more likely to find is a young child – a daughter just like Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) told them she saw in her premonition. That child will be Athena, the little girl (Jazmyn Skye Vale) that was cast a few months ago but then we didn’t get to see because of plot problems.
Soon, though, Lulu will get the chance to bring her daughter home. She may have missed out on the pregnancy process again, but she won’t care once she has her precious little girl in her arms. However, don’t expect Dante to be quite as excited as Lulu.
Dante would have been fine if they had a baby via surrogate or even adopted a child – but for him to raise a child that is part Lulu’s and part Stavros Cassadine’s (Robert Kelker-Kelly) is another matter and this could cause problems in the future.
