Upcoming General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and Franco (Roger Howarth) have a long-overdue confrontation in coming days and there are some issues they need to work out based on the intersection of their personal lives.
Sam has not forgiven or forgotten the hell that Franco put her and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) through. Long-time GH watchers know that Franco kidnapped Sam and let her and Jason think that he raped her during their honeymoon and they thought for a while that Danny might be Franco’s son.
Neither Sam nor Jason is convinced that Franco is a changed man and they don’t want him around, but he continues to be because of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Things will come to a head in coming days when Jake Webber (Hudson West) notices Sam’s animosity towards Franco.
Jake likes Franco a lot and he’s already wondering why his dad doesn’t care for his mom’s new pal. Jake will soon ask Sam why she doesn’t like his art therapy instructor and Sam has to decide what to say to her stepson about his mom’s new BF. Will Sam spill the beans on Franco’s ugly past?
In fact, Sam and Jason are wrong about Franco – he has changed – he’s a new man since his tumor was removed. However, that doesn’t wipe away all the bad things he did before. Franco’s victims will still feel wounded even if he’s not the same homicidal predator that he once was.
But Franco isn’t going to walk away from Liz just because he makes Sam and Jason uncomfortable. Sam will decide she needs to deal directly with Franco since the kids notice her tension and she’s pregnant again which is a sore spot given their history with her last pregnancy.
Sam confronts Franco and wants him out of her and Jason’s lives for good. But in this case, Sam won’t get what she wants. Franco is committed to Liz. He’s made himself at home in her life – and is now comfortable in her home like he belongs there. Franco wants to be part of Liz’s family
Franco will not give Liz up and he tells Sam flat out that he’s not going anywhere. Sam won’t like this and neither will Jason, but Franco is part of their new reality. Liz will also stand up to Sam. Liz already told Jason to deal with it that Franco is staying in her life and she’ll have to reiterate this for Sam.

Admittedly, for Liz, annoying Jason and Sam may be part of the appeal of being with Franco since she lost Jason to Sam. However much Sam and Jason don’t like Jason, it won’t matter to Franco and Liz who have found happiness together.
And if Sam and Jason aren’t careful, their animosity towards Franco could ensure that Liz and Franco grow even closer together. What do you think GH fans? Should Sam and Jason get over it since Franco isn’t the same man that tormented them? Or are they right to hold a grudge?
