Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s custody battle has just gotten messier. There’s a new report that says Brad’s DCFS investigation will go on for several more weeks, even though it was suppose to close by the end of October.
It’s without a doubt that fans still can’t get over the fact that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are divorcing, but that the actor would ever put his children’s well-being in jeopardy with his multiple alcohol and substance abuse claims along with his near-clash with his 15-year-old son Maddox on a flight from Paris to Minneapolis several weeks ago.
Even though the on-going investigation consisted of several interviews and two voluntarily drug tests from Brad Pitt – both of which turned out to be negative – sources say it didn’t close on schedule for a specific reason and that’s because there’s new evidence thanks to new major accusations, according to In Touch Weekly and TMZ.
In fact these lastest accusations involve interactions between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt directly – these were witnessed by one or more of the kids according the TMZ’s sources. One thing for sure – this is ugly and getting uglier – Angelina opened the door and now the law has kicked it in and taken over.
So does this mean that something more serious happened between Brad and Maddox? Did a witness on the plane confess something so shocking that it might damage Brad’s chances of having future custody of his kids?
Then again, it wouldn’t be surprising if Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt were playing emotional tug-of-war with their six kids, especially now that they are separated and fighting for their legal rights over their children. Sure, the ball might be in Angelina Jolie’s court, but there’s no way Brad Pitt will completely relinquish his parental rights over their children.
Just like many parents, it wouldn’t be surprising if Brad might have snapped or showed his anger and frustration over his children’s lack of discipline and good manners. After all, Angelina’s parenting style allows the children to do whatever the want without consequence, which was not the way Brad was raised. He simply couldn’t take the chaos anymore and that’s perhaps why he’s still under investigation.
Of course, no one knows what the real truth is except for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt along with their children. But knowing just how manipulative Angelina can be, and especially with the media, there’s a good chance that more claims might be leaked to the press, especially if continues to make Brad look like the one who ultimately snapped and destroyed their family with his lack of self control while painting Angelina as the victim in their messy divorce.
