Are Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton trying to land their own reality television show? That’s what some critics can’t help but wonder as the on-again, off-again couple is once again making headlines for their rocky relationship.
Bachelor in Paradise alum Josh Murray might just be desperate to get back with Amanda simply because he wants to generate as much publicity as he can. Even though Amanda has remained rather quiet about their break-up and current relationship status, it’s Josh who keeps on talking to the media about their situation.
Josh even told Us Weekly during ‘The Bachelor’ viewing party in Hollywood on Monday, March 13th, “It’s complicated right now. I want to take things slow right now. There’s a lot to work on. There’s a lot that needs to change and we’re starting to work on that, so we’ll see what happens.”
Even though they were spotted kissing near a park in Los Angeles in February, Josh insists that he and Amanda are not back together. At least, not yet. Instead, he says that he and Amanda are working out their communication issues right now. He’s hoping to work things out with her, especially since he misses the young mom’s two daughters, Kinsley and Charlie. Josh moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles to be with Amanda, but the couple ended up pulling the plug on their relationship back in December.
Many Bachelor Nation fans can’t help but notice that Josh Murray might be trying to steal Nick Viall’s spotlight. He was reportedly upset over reports that suggested Nick was texting Amanda after the Season 21 Final Rose ceremony.
Nick apparently texted Amanda after he found out about her break up with Josh. Josh and Nick’s rivalry is no secret. After all, they both competed for Andi Dorfman’s heart on ‘The Bachelorette’ back in 2014 and ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ last year. Nick ended up headlining his own season of ‘The Bachelor’ while Josh is still trying to figure out what his next step will be.
