The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal several couples are in for a shake up this summer. Some fans will be thrilled while others will be angry that the couple they love is hitting the skids. Who do you hope survives the summer and who are you happy to see over?
Y&R’s Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may have began a relationship with his former sister-in-law, Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) as they both were mourning the loss of their respective spouses, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Adam (Justin Hartley). But now it appears that in spite of everything his ex-wife Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) has done to him and his family, Nick is showing signs of jealousy as she takes up with her new beau, Scott “Scotty” Grainger (Daniel Hall).
Nick may be jealous about Sharon’s new relationship, but he should really be concerned about his own relationship falling apart thanks to his conspiracy with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victor’s involvement in bringing Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) back to GC resulted in the murder of Chelsea’s husband and Nick is covering this up.
Chelsea may have fallen for Nick, but she is also hiding a huge secret – she knows that Christian is not Nick’s biological son. Can this couple survive the jealousy and lies between them and can Sharon and Scott ignore Nick’s incessant interference?
The Young and the Restless’ Abigail “Abby” Newman (Melissa Ordway) has been single since her marriage to Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) ended last year. Y&R spoilers reveal beneath all that resentment between Abby and Scott, there is potential. Abby needs a man who can stand up to her but also be her rock. It is entirely possible that Abby will end up with Scott at her side.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has a good thing going with his long-time friend, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) – they accept each other for what they are and having been slowly building to a great relationship.
But The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon just can’t let go of his ex-wife, Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan), and the green monster is beginning to rear its ugly head when he watches her with her new love, Jordan Wilde (Darnell Kirkwood). Will Devon reunite with Hilary or will he stay with Mariah, the one who he can always count on?
The Young and the Restless super couple Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) have been through the wringer lately and now with Juliet Helton’s (Laur Allen) pregnant, could this finally be the end of them for good? They have survived so much including Lily’s infidelity and her cancer journey, one would think they could survive this latest scandal since it was obvious Cane had no idea what was going on.
