The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Y&R star Stacy Haiduk is recovering from emergency surgery after a very serious accident. Stacy Haiduk is most well-known among CBS soap viewers as the eccentric Patty Williams.
Stacy Haiduk played the park of Paul Williams’ troubled sister Patty for 3 years, exiting in 2012. She returned in 2015 for a lengthy arc again, and became embroiled in a murder mystery with Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] and Sharon Newman [Sharon Case]. Patty Williams most recent scene aired in 2016 when she revealed Sharon’s dark secret, the child she was raising as her own was actually Sage’s baby.
Stacy Haiduk took to Instagram on Saturday July 29 and revealed that she had just had emergency surgery on her hand to repair tendons in her thumb. The Y&R actress explained that a few days ago she tripped and fell while carrying a glass and cut her hand very badly, she was rushed to the emergency room and stitched up, but had to return to get surgery to repair some of the damage because the bad cuts left her unable to use her thumb.
Despite the circumstances, and the severity of her incident and surgery, Stacy Haiduk was grinning from ear to ear in her Instagram snapshot and seems to be doing well. Stacy even went on to wish all of her followers a great weekend! The Young and the Restless fans flocked to the comment section to leave well wishes for the CBS soap star and some positive encouragement on her road to recovery. It looks like Haiduk is going to be just fine, thankfully.
As of right now there are no The Young and the Restless spoilers indicating that Stacy will be reprising the role of Patty Williams any time in the near future. However, the writers always make sure to leave the door open when Haiduk exits, so you never know when the actress could pop back up in Genoa City and stir up some more exciting drama.
