General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Steve Burton’s (ex-Jason) comeback is going to be epic. His return will affect nearly every character on canvas, so it’s clear that GH wants to shake things up. Many fans have speculated that Burton’s character will be Jason’s (Billy Miller) twin, but what if we’re dealing with another set of brothers?
Something is obviously up with Franco (Roger Howarth) right now. Ever since he returned from New York, he’s really been struggling with his dark history. General Hospital is even stirring up old childhood issues. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) checked out a painting that could offer a major clue about what’s ahead.
Franco’s art represented him as a boy as well as his childhood imaginary friend. His make-believe pal helped him through some rough times, so this mirror image painting means a lot to him. This could easily foreshadow a twin story with Steve Burton’s character. Perhaps Franco has repressed some memories and doesn’t realize his imaginary friend was actually his brother, even a twin brother, just not an identical twin.
Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) once claimed Franco and Jason were twins. She later backtracked on that story, but maybe there was some truth to the twin story after all. Since the show keeps talking about how many people will be affected, this is certainly a way to add some layers.
Keeping Franco involved would definitely rev up the drama. Once Burton’s character arrives, there’ll be questions about who he is. Franco might be able to solve the mystery down the road. He may begin to recall bits and pieces after Burton shows up in Port Charles.
It would be interesting if Franco is the only one who can shed some light on all this. Jason hates his guts, but he may need his help! General Hospital spoilers say Jason will struggle with an identity crisis after Burton appears. He’ll feel like his world is falling apart. Jason will question everything he believed to be true.
Anyone in Jason’s situation would be distressed. He’ll be anxious to dig back into the past and find out the real story. General Hospital intends to supply the solution through plenty of twists and according to EP Frank Valentini it will take 9 long months. Will one of those twists involve a connection between Burton’s character and Franco? Will a twin revelation change life as they know it?
