The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers updates for Monday, August 28, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will decide to pay Victor (Eric Braeden) a visit. She’ll want to get a few things straight about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). When Sharon scolds Victor for targeting Nick (Joshua Morrow), he won’t think it’s any of her business. Sharon will contend that as long as this affects her daughter, she’s going to be involved.
Victor will ignore Sharon’s lecture about backing off for the family’s sake. However, he’ll make it clear that no one can stop him seeing his grandkids. At the penthouse, Nick will reject Faith’s idea of going to the ranch. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will side with Faith in hopes of easing the tension. She’ll be desperate for some peace.
Once Nick takes Faith over, she’ll scamper off to the stables with her grandpa. Victor will change his tune a bit by urging Faith to apologize. Later, she’ll inform Nick that she’d like to tell Chelsea she’s sorry. The tension is lifting slightly, but don’t expect it to last. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor and Nick’s battle will heat right back up soon.
In the meantime, Chelsea will confide in Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). She’ll admit that letting Nick and Faith move in has been a struggle. Jordan will give Chelsea a pep talk before bringing up his own issues. He’ll be worried about Lily (Christel Khalil) uncovering details from his past, but Chelsea will think all that’s behind him.
At Jabot, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) plan for a deal with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will fall flat. She won’t be willing to give him better shelf space. If Jack wants an advantage over Brash and Sassy, he’ll have to earn it through Jabot’s product line.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will also scheme in Monday’s Y&R episode. Since Billy has Dina’s (Marla Adams) password, Victoria will determine that he needs a Jabot computer to use it. Billy will guess that Victoria wants him to steal Phyllis’ laptop. He’ll decide it’ll be worth it if they can make Jack suffer. Victoria will hug Billy for putting her company first.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will head home to put their plot in motion. He’ll get passionate with Phyllis before she takes a shower. That’ll be Billy’s big chance. He’ll quickly grab Phyllis’ laptop and check out Jabot’s files.
At the office, Dina will imply that Jack isn’t living up to John’s (Jerry Douglas) legacy. Jack will have no problem admitting that he isn’t. He’ll argue that his father was a better man and he can’t fill his shoes. It’s clear that Jack would rather get revenge than preserve a solid reputation.
Victoria will show up later to offer what we can assume is a fake truce. She’ll want to put the drama behind them to protect Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Jack will look suspicious as he shakes Victoria’s hand.
