Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will get some encouraging news. He counseled a drunk driver named Jason a while back, but he hasn’t heard any updates. On this week’s new Days episodes Jason will decide it’s time to thank Eric for all this help. He’ll admit that the advice really touched his heart.
Jason will indicate that he chose to stay sober and he’s turning his life around. Eric will be glad that things are working out well for both of them. When Nicole (Arianne Zucker) overhears their chat, she’ll battle old feelings. She’ll recognize Eric’s kind soul and determine that she may still be in love with him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole and Eric will share an incredibly close moment. They’ll nearly lock lips, but they’ll both pull away at the last second. Eric and Nicole won’t want to hurt Brady (Eric Martsolf), but they can’t help how they feel. It’s clear that their love for each other is becoming harder to bear.
DOOL spoilers state that Nicole will feel like she has to come clean to someone. Abe (James Reynolds) will listen to Nicole’s dilemma and offer some guidance. Meanwhile, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) will make the mistake of filling Brady in on Eric’s desires. He’ll be furious when he realizes Eric actually wants to be with Nicole.
Brady already knew this deep down, but getting confirmation on Eric’s feelings will really set him off. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Brady will confront his brother and start making demands. Brady won’t think Nicole needs to be around Eric if his feelings are so strong.
When Brady pushes Eric to fire Nicole, Eric will push back. Days spoilers say Eric won’t think that’s fair to their mutual love interest. He knows that Nicole truly wants to make a difference. Of course, Brady will think they both just wanted an excuse to be together. He’ll be fed up with their blatant connection.
Eric will believe they’ve reached an impasse. He just won’t see any way they can all live in the same town. Days spoilers hint that Eric will write a heartfelt letter to Nicole before leaving Salem. He’ll hate to bid her farewell, but he’ll think this is how it has to be.
However, this won’t be the last we see of Eric. There’s more to the story and it looks like Marlena (Deidre Hall) will play a role in making sure it’s told.
