The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) remains in a box. She loves Nick (Joshua Morrow), but is also keeping a secret. When the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) issue is revealed it will likely mean the end of Chick.
As Y&R loyalists recall, Chelsea and Victor (Eric Braeden) both know, or think they know, that Adam (Justin Hartley) is actually Christian’s biological father. Nick isn’t aware of this crucial point and will surely be crushed if he ever learns that Chelsea has known this seeming fact for more than a year.
The term ‘seeming fact’ was used because viewers were led to believe that Victor somehow confirmed Adam’s genetic link to Christian after he suspected that son (Adam) was Christian’s father. Nick currently believes that Chelsea is totally loyal. Any paternity reveal that places her in Victor’s confidence will obviously create major blowback, if not the total destruction of Nick and Chelsea’s nicely developed relationship.
Victor warned Nick on a number of occasions not to cross him regarding what he’d uncovered about Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Nick learned that Chloe seemingly caused Adam’s death and that his dad was linked to Hendrickson’s character, though not his brother’s actual demise. Nevertheless, Nick held Victor fully responsible, which ignited the current Newman family war.
Chelsea is right to be worried. She knows that when Victor is unhinged, as he is now, that he might not protect her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers warn that Nick will go through with a damaging interview for GC Buzz on this week’s new Y&R episodes. Nick will foolishly give in to anger and spite and actually reveal to Victoria (Mishael Morgan) things about The Moustache that will come back to hurt Nick with a vengeance!
Yes, the Black Knight could respond to Nick’s interview by telling his son that he’s not Christian’s real father, or even reveal that information in a GC Buzz interview himself. Victor could orchestrate a situation where Nick learns that information without stating that Chelsea was aware in either scenario. Then again, Victor might out Chelsea in order to also destroy Chick.
There’s no way to predict what Victor might do and Chelsea doesn’t want to broach the subject with him, as that might set him off. Plus she knows that there really is no negotiating with the Moustache. However, she does control access to Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).
A few weeks ago Chelsea told Victor that she wouldn’t want to block him from seeing Adam’s son, meaning Connor. But if Victor ever told Nick about Chelsea’s paternity knowledge of Christian, then Adam’s widow would likely be left with no choice but to follow through on her threat.
